Jade walks into the mess hall and sighs seeing so many faces but yet feeling so alone. Why was she such a maverick? She might have more friends if she wasn't. She sat at the bar and ordered a drink, thanking the barman for it and sipping it. Taking out a PADD she began reading security reports.

"Howdy Lassy!" Came a booming Scottish voice from behind her.
Beathan slapped her on the back and sat down. He was out of uniform, off duty, and holding a small bottle of Whiskey. He was obviously looser but not drunk.

Will walked in and spotted Jade, and a little tipsy Doctor, so he walked over, thinking that this would be a perfect oppertunity to patch things up with Jade, and remind the doctor who he was.
"Good Evening Jade" he said, placing himself inbetween her and the doctor.
"Chai Tea please" he asked the bartender.
"Always reading security reports" he said laughing and then directed at the doctor. "Now now, not getting drunk are we?"

"Laddy! yeah be underestamatin tha alchool tolerenc o' a Scott! Besides if I where ta be drunk do ya think Miss Jade here would'a let me talk ta her for solong? I thin a would'a be in a brig by no'. Besids laddy ye be tactical officar. What do it mater ta ye?"He said having a bit of fun with the situation.

Will raised one eyebrow.
"Im sorry i couldnt quite undertstand that, could you repeatit" he asked, laughing.
"No doctor, i think that the tolorance of a scottish blocke is the same as everyone elses, don't give me all of that ' we can withstand anything' crap please, and being a tactical officer has nothing to do with my observations of drunk people" he said looking at Jade and rolling his eyes.

Jade looked up at the twos argument over nothing a shuck her head. maybe her quarters would have been...better. She decided to just answer them.
"I am reading these because they need doing, and Doctor I was fine as I was."

Lisa had entered the mess hall to give a break for her marines. If she worked them any harder then they would need medical treatment.
She noticed that Will and Doctor MacAinmire was argue while Jade sat at the bar, Lisa had noticed that Jade's consentration had been split lately, what was causing it was of her consern not lisa's.
Lisa quickly walked over and whispered in Jades ear,
" Want help?"

Will looked at Jade.
"Jade, i do not believe that you are going to make many friends, if you do not let them help you with reports, especially as our two departments are so close together" he said smiling warmly at Jade.

Will was staring at Jade so much she had ot kick him under hte table.
