Hey Guys, check this out! I know most of you know about star date calculators, I found one I think we should all use, its at this URL www.route56.com/startrek/stardate.htmlI'll give you and example, I did one for 10:15pm, January 21st, 2293, which for this forum is almost ten minutes ago, on a saturday (in that year it would be). It gave me Stardate 9565.165 I think everyone should use this, its great and would be really good for our logs as well, especially the Captains Log. like I did all this cool stuff with it too, as in, based on TNG (which was set 375 years into the future) I did stuff like when I was born I was born on Stardate 41787.655, because I put in all the information, even the time down to the minute, then I added 375 years to the year 1989, and it gave me an accurate stardate. But I think we should also limit it to two decimal places, as well as minutes, not seconds so... Stardate 9565.165 becomes Stardate 9565.17, but also if I entered it down to the second, it would be even longer, I think the minute is the last decimal, so just round it up or down and you've got yourself a Stardate If you think its a good idea, let me know.
