Idea!!

I have been listening to music while i rp, and it realy helps the mood so i thought of something... what if... we posted links to music that fits our rp in our posts!!! like if we are about to die we put on dark metal, or if its a happy thing we could put on something happy. Its a great idea!

so what do you guys think?? that ways its like reading and hearing a movie!!!!

You know, I thought of a similar idea, but still, our ideas are unique... I was thinking that we have say, a song for a certain scene, like say on the bridge, it would be a nice orchestral piece, but when we are on an away team, it might be a bit more dramatic... can't say I agree with the whole metal idea, unless we are on an alien planet that are actually playing heavy metal, otherwise it just doesn't seem to fit, imo.

Still, it is a good idea, one for each mood, or maybe one for each scenario, what else do you guys think?

Well... star trek never played metal, but other shows have. and plus theres nothing better then metal when theres a huge battle going on=)

ok that song dosint exactly match the post but you get the point, the music link would be below or above the post, you would click on it and then start reading the post. of course the song will last longer then the post but its just an inhancer.

also EVE online is a space game, but it has great music for space. both dramatic and serene. so go to www.eve-online.com/download/music/ and download the songs=) then play them while reading the rp, thats what i do. Thats if we dont do the music in the post thing. I always listen to music when im rping and it inhances the feel alot. just an inhancement idea=)

Yes, I can see that, but I think it should be placed at the top of the posts, so people can download the music, via youtube and what not, then read the post, as aposed to reading the entire post, then downloading the music.

True, we could also chose an "intro" song for the site itself, you know like the intros to all the shows=) we would put it at the begining of each mission. Just another thought.


and about the intro we could put up a poll and have like 8 songs to chose from. Just to make it feel a litle more like a real star trek ya know?

No, I really like that idea, I was thinking of doing something similar for my own site, so I would like to learn skills in working on this sites one, perhaps we could put together a team of some kind, myself and youself would be included, I don't think we would go very far without Karl, and anyone else could join too, we could have an entire opening credits (I really don't think that a end credits would be nessecary, I mean, they are usually lame on realy star trek, so whats the point of having 'end' credits here).

Remember the one Karl did on the Phoenix? we could have something like that, ofcourse only the senior stafff would be included... it could be something like

i like that idea, we could have the ship like flying through a system, and have some music going, while its saying our names. Then have it jump to warp at the end, realy simple. Karls pretty good he could do it, all we need to do is find the music for it.

i suck at actualy makeing stuff (partly because i have literaly no programs for that stuff..i have paint... thats it lol) but im good at comeing up with ideas=) i could be the umm

Or... We could have an original song. I know Karl can make electronic music (see Phoenix Theme.) Or, if I can find I way to record high-quality sound stuff on my computer, I could compose a theme on guitar. I dunno. Orchestral's always the best, but Karl's Phoenix theme sounded really good too.

So what me making those Micro Heroes that are unappreciated and such. I still haven't gotten Zeppelin's attempted at making a Vulcan template, with the 'proper' skin colour. So If you two get one then I should get one.

He ment the video lol, I will stay behind at college so I can start work on one. i have downloaded an excelcior mesh its just doing it. As far as the theme shoudl I make it sound kinda like the Horner music for star treks 2 and 3?

I loved the Star Trek II MUSIC! WOOT! umm... well I have all the Ten movies at my disposal, so I could get access to any music, I personally liked the opening them to Star Trek III as well, but I think your right, an original one could be the best, perhaps the whole title thing isn't really nessecary, I mean we could all just be people working on a common goal, also, Karl, if you want any clips or anything just ask, I can get pretty good skins/meshs, from a viewer of a Star Trek: Star Fleet Command III mesh of the Excelsior (not the stock one, one someone else made up) if that helps at all.

*darws a blank* am i the only one here who hasint seen every movie...twice lol. god i haveint even seent that many... i saw the one where whales attack earth to get whales from the 20th. and umm that one...started with a N... um nim something and then a few episode of each show, and all of voyager.

I recomend burshing up and watching the first 6 movies to help you with this time period we are playing Rudger
