Episode XVII: Doom on the Horizon

[Beathan MacAinmire]

"I know it be contained. If it whear no' I'd be passed ou' on tha' floor. Now wha' ya wana start with?"

[Commander Vorak]

He nodded and walked over to another scope.
"It seems to effect the skin foremost and dig its way down to the other organs."

[Beathan MacAinmire]

"That would explain thes blasted goosebumps."

[Commander Vorak]

"Can you see a way of curing it, perhaps we coudl consult with Mr Narak if he would answer my hails this time" he replied.

[Beathan MacAinmire]

"Perhaps, but what if we dina attacke the biological part, but tha' physical part. change that frequwency o' the shields ta block it?" Beathan said hoping this would be a more accomplishable task.

[Commander Vorak]

"Nebula are random phenomena we would have much difficulty predicting it, but of course this nebula may not be of natural causes."

[Beathan MacAinmire]

"A defence that hte planet created? Or rather the people on the planet created?" Beathans inquierd.

[Commander Vorak]

"Ms Jade said it could be a Dreingin weapon" he replied "I will work on the shields, you see if you can make an antibody."

[Beathan MacAinmire]

"Ay Sir!" He said, pulling out his tricorder and scanning the nebula gas. Once he had all he need he turned to Vorak. "I'll be in Sickba' if ya want me."

[Commander Vorak]

"Understood."
-COM- Bridge this may take awhile, recommend repairs and preparations be made for returning to the nebula. Vorak out -COM-

[Lt Matina Jade]

Jade meanwhile with Lichfield and Rogers had begun a plan of action for the return to nebula.
"Captain we have something, if we enter here we can find a direct but hazard filled route to the main starbase. Once their we coudl hack into the ships systems and do as we please to drive them from this space."

[Commander Vorak]

"I believe I have it" he says looking at the scope from his science station "Doctor how is yours progressing?"

[Beathan MacAinmire]

"Aperently it enduses a disbalence o'chemicals in the brain. But I think I found a way ta counter act it." He said answering the commander

[Captain Alexander Kynes]

"Acknowledged," said Kynes, giving a nod to Jade, and then to McAinmire.

[Commander Vorak]

An hour later the Endeavour re entered the nebula.
"Tracking several ships, sending location to helm to avoid."
It seemed like hours as the ship navigated the ships, the crew sweating new to the shields and medicine they had been given.
Then from the mist appeared the starbase.
"Away team to transporter room two, raise shields as soon as we are over. Doctor, Jade, Mcvanlen, Kosh Narak and Clark with me."

Moments later they materialized in the starbase.
"Keep alert" he said as they proceeded.
