Bethan is a Commander (just say he always was) due to the Fact he was mabey in his 20s on the TOS Phoenix he would be in his 50s now and if he has only coem one rank in that time. Promotions suck for him lmao.

Ha ha, well done mac... good thing we has promoted here instead of demoted on the Phoenix, that would be just weird.

i think that's a bit unfair for everyone else. I mean, McAinmire's a great RPer but Commander is a bit much. I'd settle with Lt. Commander though, as he has been a very good member, and he was one of those scheduled for Lt. Commander, along with Jade. There's only supposed to be one Commander on a ship though.

hmm, I have to agree with the Captain, well, in thirty one years you'd expect to be promoted a fair bit, but then again he is a doctor, maybe if you demote him on the Phoenix to... no his rank is already extremely low, how many promotions is that? Lt, then Lt cmdr, thats two, if we say he was always Lt. Cmdr and has been for a while, like before he came to the Endeavour that would tie in nicely I think. You could also say that he took ages to get to Lt. Cmdr as well, or even Lt. on another ship,
Doctor, have you got anything to say about this?

What? So do you mean we change the character on the Phoenix to someone else? or kill the doctor and replace him with someone else? I don't think we should kill him off, nah-ah

That makes sense, it would remove all the strings involved, but on the other hand, he'd have to think of a new character, and we all know McAinmire, its reall up to him, I think that the characters should stay linked, it would be much easier for him to do, and easier for us as RPers, so we don't have to thin up a new character.

I like the timeline (see the Phoenix timeline on the main Phoenix) I will go with the Lt commander thing and we can say he was out of service for awile. I dont agree about the "One commander" thing thow since crusher and in later seasons troi were full commanders.

Yes I agree besides the late starship enterprise (end of Star Trek II star of III) had Commander Sulu Commander Chekov Commander Uhura Commander Scott Commander McCoy
So I certainly think that you can have more than one Commander, just based on that lol

well I checked everyone of the ranks, and they all weren't lower than commander, they all had atleast commander on there uniforms, so with firve commanders a captain and an admiral anything is possible if we all try hard enough.
