We are dangerously close to the Klingon Neutral Zone. All ship functions appear ready and the crew as responding as always with excellence. A scan of the area earlier this morning revealed a small surge of power near bye, perhaps a cloaking device. I will continue to monitor why on shift.

After an attack by a group of Klingon vessels we where rescued by the Enterprise and taken back to Starbase. It appears what I picked up was indeed a bird of prey cloaked. And many other vessels in the area also. As we break into a new Earth calender year we are faced with a ship thats repairs may beyond the Starbases abilitys.

After docking we have begun repairs, My science dutys are non required why here so I have began to help with repairs. But also secuirty efforts to keep safe the Klingon ambassador. However this morning I have discovered the personel history of Lt Matina Jade. Seeing as she has a history of dilike for the Klingons I have no choice but to report this to the Captain, she may need to be removed from her postion for the time being.

Executive and Science log Uss Endeavour. After heading into an area of uncharted space to find the species of this bounty hunter who attemped and assination on the Klingon Ambassador in league with Rear Admiral Dawson. What we found was a temporally shifted planet and a marrones Federation crew at the center of it. After recovering the crew we soon saw the Valen Fleet we had been in contact with destroyed by another renegade clan of Valens in League with an unknown vessel, possibly the cause of the shifted planet. We now are docked at starbase for a quick refit before I hope we will return to Valen space.

Season 2 Logs:
Stardate 9646.5
I have assumed Commander after the Captains presumed death. I can say little accept that he was a friend and the best commanding officer in the fleet. My job now looks forward to my task ahead, getting the crew home to the 23rd century at all costs.

First Officers Log Supplemental, The Captain has been returned to the ship. We were mistaken in his demise. I am grateful to see him again and now we must turn our attention to getting home once again.

Executive and Science Officers Log Stardate 9677.7
Peril. We received new orders from Starfleet command to head on our current course in hopes of finding the Drengin pathway into our galaxy but have been ordered to carry out our primary mission on route that may take anything from weeks to years. Perhaps Kosh Narak could be of greater help with this if he was more willing to disclose such information to us on his return from his starship. While on this course we have encountered an intelligent species and begun first contact protocol. However the landing party has come with a fatal illness on our away mission, unknown cause as of yet. One crew member of mine own dead. At this moment I am reminded of an old earth quotation to do with what curiosity did to the cat.

First Officer Log supplemental Doctor MacAnimire has cured the crew and we are back on course. However the long term damage is not physical and were that world a member of the Federation. It would answer for its crimes. We however cannot pass judgment, just a delayed transmission to Starfleet that the planet is a restricted area at all costs. Meanwhile the effects of the last few days have left there effects on one crew member indeed.

Executive Officers Log Stardate 9683.2
We have left deep space six and are back into the unknown, and this time we are not turning around. Myself and crew are preparing for a deep space assignment. I am picking up a planet on sensors, with all the traits of a mining planet. No life readings however.
