Sad news

Hello All,

I’m Jeff and I am new here. As I explained in a PM to the administrator of this site, the person who has been playing Tom Bligh, my cousin, has past away in a head-on collision way back in February. As I was going through his favorites ( he left his computer to me ) I found this site. I too am I Star Trek fan and I’ve decided to join.

The reason for this post is not to introduce myself, but to ensure you that Tom didn’t merely abandon this site. Although I have never shared a conversation with him about this site, by looking at his profile I see that he has made many posts; this shows commitment to the site.

In addition to finding this site, I have also found USS Phoenix and I will be posting this message on their site ASAP. For the time being, I would like to sharpen my writing skills and join your crew. I look forward to spending time with you all.

And questions about my cousin can be answered over personal messages.

We now understand what happened to Mr Bligh, the poor guy did so much for this site and the Phoenix and was one of my best members. I his honour I am thinking of resurrecting the Feeny. RIP man, hope your aboard your Enterprise now.

Dude, I actually cried when I heard that. Tom was a close friend of mine. He was a good friend, and a good contributor to the site.

If I may, I'd like to say something too. Thomas Salerno, if that was his true name, if it was not I'm sorry, was a good person, I first found out about these sites through him, and, he was kind, and helped me get to know everything about it, and in the brief time I knew him, I was happy to consider him a friend. It strikes me with shock and deep sadness that he is no longer among us, and I hope that where ever he is now, he's having a good time.
