These are the Requirements for certain promotions. Note that if there is a number of officers competing for a certain promotion, and there is a surplus of higher-ranking officers, additional requirements will need to be met.
Rank 1: ENSIGN
You must have got up to Chief Warrant Officer by simply posting up to 100 posts to go up by these ranks, one you are a CWO simply:
-Post more than 200 posts
-Pass enlistment exam
-show yourself to be skilled in your field
-Contribute to mission board
-make 1 or 2 posts per week
-Be an active member for one months
Rank 2: LIEUTENANT JR GRADE
If you are an ensign do these to gain in rank:
-Post more than 300 posts
-Contribute to mission board on a regular basis
-Make friendships in the crew
-Interact with Senior officers on more than five occasions
-Be an active member for two months
Rank 3: LIEUTENANT
-Post more than 500 posts
-Contribute to mission board on a regular bases
-Make friendships and interactions with the crew
-Post at least twice a week
-Make posts that enhance and add to the story
-Make posts that enhance your character
-Be an active member for three months
Rank 4: LT COMMANDER
-post more than 1500 posts
-Contribute to mission board on a regular bases
-Make friendships and interactions with the crew
-Post at least four times a week
-Make posts that enhance and add to the story
-Make posts that enhance your character
-Take stories in new directions not put forth by an admin
-Be an active member for six months
Rank 5: COMMANDER
-Post more than 3000 posts
-Contribute to mission board on a regular basis
-Make friendships and interactions with the crew
-Post at least once every two days
-Make posts that enhance and add to the story
-Make posts that enhance your character
-Take stories in new directions not put forth by an admin
-Give thoughts and ideas on how to improve the board
-Talk to the captain on a regular basis
-Pass command test that will be given by the first officer or captain
-Be an active member for 12 months
Rank 1: ENSIGN
