Juliet watched people kissing and made her some what depressed, she wondered what people were really up to, she started to think about many things, like where she was with Beathan, where she was with Vorak, she wished she could spend some time with Vorak instead of calling him commander every second, she was under his wing now, she was lost here and couldn't find her way.

Zepplin was at the bar, and he noticed the ensign sitting by herself, so he decided to come over and have a chat with her.
"Ensign now is it? Wow that's good, finally claiming the commission you earnt at the academy!" he says in a slightly raised voice, he sits down.
"How's your new assignment as Assistant Chief of Science Ensign?" he asked, taking a small sip of his beverage.

She smiled softly seeing who was talking to her she nodded "Kind of feels like ive downgraded" She sighed some "But the commander asked me to join and I did, me and him are becoming good friends, and thats something I treasure" She said softly looking at him with a smile. She was still iffy on ranks but she didn't treat anyone any different, she just wish she was a bit more into everything

"Well there are a couple of science officers that would love to be in the position your in right now Ensign." he says, finishing his drink and ordering another one. As the waiter walked away he continued.
"When you attended the academy, what was it that persuaded you to accept a NCO position in favour of the commission most other cadets took up?" he asked, always having been interested in this fact.

She looked up at him "All through my life I wanted something challenging, its hard because I take to everything so well, some used to call me some nasty things, saying that I never should have been allowed on a ship like this, but its not like I paid anyone to put me here, my grades put me here" Looking at Conor she couldn't help but smile, she wasn't to sure what he was thinking. "Im always willing to try new things"

"That's uhh... well you deserve to be here Ensign, don't you worry about that, besides, now that you have a commission that's ma'am to all those below you, you can get all those snobby crewmen transfered to science and get them doing all sorts of awful things." he said with a smile.
