After Work

[Naomi Tanius]

A small swish and the Mess Hall doors were opened and Naomi walked in. Looking around most of the mid-day shift was here, sense it just ended. Replicating a glass of Sparkling Cider sense she seemed to have no tolerance for alcohol, besides Sparkling Cider look like beer anyway. Sitting down with another padd she thought back to her shift. She had allready read about the crew in the manifest but if she planned to make any friends here she'd have to set down her padd for a moment and talk and mingle amoung the crew. And another senior officers recomended coming here to do so. Contining her studies she was still fully aware of the busy Mess Hall around her.

[Daniel Clark]

Daniel walked into the Mess Hall and spotted the new Navigation Officer
He got a drink and walked over
"Mind if i Join you?" He asked

[Naomi Tanius]

Naomi looked up from her pad and smiled. "No not at all" she said setting down her padd. Chief of Engineering she thought briefly and Lieutenant. Not bad she hopped to achive that rank one day.

[Daniel Clark]

"Thank You" Daniel replied sitting "So, how have you found the Endeavour so far?"

[Naomi Tanius]

Nodding she listened thinking about her brief time she had spent here. "Everything has been fine so far. How about you? How long have you been here" she asked curious. Of course she allread was pretty sure it was the basic way to get to know someone.

[Daniel Clark]

"Just over a year, it's been one hell of a year though, did you hear of our Spy problem?" Daniel replied

[Naomi Tanius]

"Yes this ship's had it's fair share of problems in the last year. Spys, attacks, missions gone horrible wrong you get the point. But it's had it's good times too" she responded looking out at the stars her dream to allmost live in space was coming true but there was still a hollow feeling inside. Something she had to leave behind.

[Daniel Clark]

"Over all she's been a good ship" Daniel replied takeing a sip of his drink "Any way is this your first time on a starship"

[Naomi Tanius]

"Indeed is has, got out of lots of tight situations" she said calmly taking a drink of her glass of sparkling cider. "No I have been in space more than half my life, generation ships to moving to a new world to manny starships. You could call me a space addict" she continued amusedly. It was funny not many humans were born and lived for a year on a fiarly distant planet. Move to earth, go on a generation ship, go to the academy, then spend allmost the rest of there time in space.

"Space Addict?" Daniel replied "Sounds Serious"
