Louis had just finished his shift in sickbay when he walked into the mess hall. He unbuttoned his red jacket and let his hair fall down his upper back and over his shoulders. His fierce eyes and pale skin was still starling to some. He needed to drink, his skin was almost that of marble.
"A drink of my usual AB negative" he told the Barman who kept the on board cooks blood in back for him.

Kynes walked into the mess hall, and saw the Medical officer they had recruited from the Valen vessel, some time ago. Drinking his blood, Kynes approached.
"Hello," Kynes greeted the man.

"Captain!" He exclaimed, straightening up, also noting his now lacking appearance "Is their anything you need sir?"

"No..." Kynes shrugged, and smiled at the Valen with ease.
"I just wanted to know how you're adjusting to our vessel. It must have been quite a transition for you," he said in a friendly tone of voice.
