[zepplin]

The USS Endeavour was sent out to investigate a quasar expanse in the hyson sector. This is an uncharted area of space for the Federation, and the Endeavour are the first to map this vast region of space.

"Captain, picking up something on Dynoflux scanners. You should take a look at this Commander."

Zepplin says, first looking up then back down at his console in astonishment of the readings.

[Captain Alexander Kynes]

"Report..." said Kynes, interested.

[zepplin]

"Captain... if Mr. Vorak can confirm my readings sir, we appear to have stumbled upon an M class planet, but more than that." he says looking up from his console.
"Space worthy vessels of some sort, this is an incredible find sir... if what I suspect is true." Zepplin finishes.

[Lt Matina Jade]

She looks on "Recomend we go to yellow alert Captain."

[Will Litchfield]

"I agree jade" he said nodding.

[Commander Vorak]

"Confirmed, M class planet. Post warp civilization present" he spoke up reporting. "Evidence of pollution levels dropping, they must have done away with fossil fuels."

[zepplin]

"Incredible... the fact that an M class planet can exist within this type of space is something we must investigate. Captain, with your permission, I think a landing party to the planets surface to investigate this culture would be a good idea." He says, in a clearly excited voice.

[Lt Matina Jade]

"And who are to say they arn't hostile?" she replied.

[zepplin]

"Ever heard of 'don't judge a book by its cover' Lieutenant?" Zepplin says with a chuckle.
"Besides, scanners haven't detected any signs of life, the planet appears to be life-less, at least from life as we know it."

[Lt Matina Jade]

"How many times has that bene said before the words "Red Alert" she says rolling her eyes.

[zepplin]

"Not enough, look, if you don't want to go." Zepplin said as he rose from his chair still stairing at her with a smile

"I'll just go with the Captain and Litchfield and a security detachment,"

Zepplin paused, wanting the blatently reversed psychology to work on her.

"Actually, Lieutenant, you've been training those Tactical Officers haven't you? To be on the safe side I might take them instead." Zepplin said, before hitching out his right thumb and indicating over his right shoulder to the turbolift.

"We'll be in the turbolift incase you change your mind, with permission sir." he asked the Captain, who strode into the turbolift along with Litchfield and Zepplin.

They were assembled in the transporter room, with standard communicators and type II phasers.

"Are we going to wait for Jade, Captain? I mean, I for one am loving the change from green uniforms to blue, aren't you Litchfield?"

She sneers and joins the party "someone has to stop you cowboys being brown to bits."

[zepplin]

"YEEEHA!" Everyone looks at Zepplin, the Captain most confused by what he had just said.
"Sorry sir; I have the co-ordinates locked into the transporter, we can energize when ready."

[Captain Alexander Kynes]

"Cut the chatter Lieutenants," said Kynes.
"Let's see what we can find down there..."

[zepplin]

OOC: Con, your post doesn't match the scenario, if you'd care to read, we are about to beam down to the planet, with myself litchfield jade and yourself all present, please modify the post, and I will reply with this one when finished.
