Im not sure if this is where to ask but could the design team make a new board in the ship zone thingy. We need an astrometrics lab for the science/nav people to post in. Im pretty sure they had them by this point.

Hey thats a good idea. In fact, I won't do just that for you. I'll make a Science Lab board, and put the Astrometrics as a sub board in it.
Thanks for asking. -Conor (Kynes)

The astrometrics lab is the navigational control center of the ship. Here is where the nav team plots our courses.
best i can think of.

I'll take your word on it, but, I've never heard pf it before, any TOS or TNG episodes where it is seen/mentioned?

no...but im sure it was there... you forget that the wrighters were not perfect, and would have left out alot of things any star ship would have.

well, could 'somebody else' tell me where its mentioned in an episode? I have some of VOY, all of TOS, and seasons 3-7 of TNG, none of DS9 (might change that) and season 4 of ENT (not bad, not bad)

well think about it, the wrighters left out alot of things real space ships would have, Com rooms, sensor rooms, fighter bays (entill later) astronomics, reserch labs, ect ect. They were dorks, i think adding in things that are common sence is ok.
