Yeah I agree with you. Simon and Garfunkel are good.

You Know I was watching some old rock and it was more "hippish" I think before bands like black sabbath (and even sabbath themselves) didn't focus to much on the "image" of the band. I think modern metal is a product of its negative press. They called then satanists and all of a sudden bands are burning crosses and wearing Black. Dont get me wrong goths are great.
But what really gets on my nerves is bands or artists who pretend to be an image they arn't such as Avril Levine or Tatu.

hmmm, well i enjoy the dark metal. actualy i enjoy alot of differint kinds of music. i also like Tatu. they actualy do have some good music, but then again i like like 50% of the music out there. (Where as most people only like 1-5% such as only country, or only rap ect ecct. most people only have one taste, some have a few. but very few have as many tastes as i do. and my mom likes about 70% she listens to crap even i wont listen to lol)

Yes indeed and proof of that is how she started all "punk" then went onto more and more softer stuff

I do not care for Avril lavigne, or Tatu, or any of that. And alot of metal is just shit with 'cookie monster' vocals. The good stuff has good singers, liked Iron Maiden, or Dream Theater, or Crimson Glory etc.

Yeah, alot of those Black Metal bands can do good instrumental stuff, like Children of Bodom.
Anyone have a fav song, or at least a song they really like at the moment? Right now I'm listening to Kashmir (Led Zeppelin.) It is such a great song!
