I've only seen Serenity, but that was pretty good. Why does everyone I talk to about that show say it's so wonderful?

Sort of a more realistic spin off of star trek, except they are civilians/criminals, there are no aliens, and it's all in one solar system.

So do I, I might've joined it eventually, I saw a whole season of FireFly as well as the movie it created (which was good, but not as good as the whole show, and you really had to see the wntire show to fully appreciate the movie, otherwise it was just a good sci-fi flick).
