Canada-Worlds third largest superpower after UK and US. Folowing WW2 Germany plunged, Russia was forth and Japan was redused to barly evan a sustainabul economy.
Canada has been given the former german submariens and have now become the most powerfull naval fleet once again.

UK task Force led by the HMS Endeavour, heavy City, battle, ship thing, lands on the west coast of Green Land andbegin the building of a Militery base
UK sends Diplomats to Canada, via use of transporters, transporter data is buired in a secure heavely armorued Bunker some where in the UK

OOC: umm i know he said anything... but come on transporters? their 100s of years away... you should use tech we can actualy make. such as lasers, bigger nukes. Fusion based weapons, possibly very early low power anti-matter. but transporters? the best scientists around are still saying its possable but realy hard, and its only 1966 so we shouldint be to advanced. we dont want this to end up like the last one.. what with nukes carried by super sharks and the great poo-flinging monkey commandos...
The US in seeing canada doing something better then them gets angry and begins mass produceing nukelear subs and advanced ships. quickly out paceing canada and by next year tripling their already great fleet. once again puting them as the top world power. in addition they launch they first 60 Laser sats into orbit and set them up so they can shoot down almost anything heading to the US...

Canada send diplomatic letter to United stats president demanding that they deter ther sadalites from Canadian space zones or the canadian army will be forced to shoot them down, under the anti-starwars peace treaty with the USA.
The canadian goverment has created multylaierd sheilding for ther naval fleet. Hoping they will have no need to defend themselves against the ever more intimadating Americans.
Canadian diplomats meet with UK diplomats in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

OOC: i wasint out doing. and i wasint high and mighty. I'm playing at being the bigest asses the world has ever known=P anyway shielding?? like energy shielding? and plus, there is no star wars act yet... its 1966, space flight is new...
IC: The US decideds to deploy 60 additional sattlites under the fact that there is no real space zones. after a satilite is deployed it only has so much fuel and can't realy be re-postitioned. and since nowone knows that they are armed sats since only the makers of the sats and the leaders of the government and millityary know the US protests that canada has no right to say where our sats can and cannot go.
They also reply that there is no star wars act. In addition any attempt to damage US hardware will be considered an act of war and the US will reply and they also remind Canada that they have no nukes...and the US dos. They also begin reserching better and faster Nukelear delivery systems aswell as larger nukes. the US builds and readys tweenty 40 megaton super nukes, and loads them into their silos. As a harsh reminder to the world of a 40 mega ton nukes power they test one, it creates a massive crater dispite being detanated 2 miles off the ground. Russia haveing only just detanated one of the same size now knows they areint the only ones with massive nukes...
OOC: that is a fact, largest nuke ever was 40 megatons and russian made. droped in 1960 something i think. PS that isint supposed to sound show offy, I'm just building alot of real things rather then a few somewhat advanced things...

OOC: I choose Cuba! We are in legion with the Soviets, but who know? Throw a what if in there and the missle crisis suddenly becomes more interesting.
IC: Cuba have began trades negotiations with the US, on seemingly friendly terms.
With all the increased sales through the production of vastly highly quantities of drugs, arms, and raw minerals, Cuba had become quite a threat to slightly more dominant nations, some nations wished to become friends with them before they get nasty and fight back.

OOC: hmmm mabey i should have chosen a less hated nation=P
IC: The united states seeing what appears as the rest of the world being against them, runs to their old firends the UK and asks for assistance. They also deploy a large number of troops and other forces to the Canadian boarder. And launch a large task force to take over mexico. Within 24 hours the government of mexico surrenders, due to the threat of a massive invasion. Witch would easily flaten the far weaker nation. The US declairs that the reason for this assault was pay back for the Alamo. They begin useing mexico as a gient factory, with a huge low payed work force that dosint mind the low pay since its alot better then their normal pay the US more then doubles its producive abillity, and now rivles china in abillity to construct. However since they are not useing their factorys to make things like toys and cars, these factorys are only producing weapons, ammo, and vehicles of war, along with more sats.
OOC: since im pretty much alone im going in to crazy build mode=P

A succesful bond between the United States and Cuba forms. Yet, Cuba are also on good trading terms with the USSR, receiving nulcear support and military hardware in exchange for some fine Cuban manufacturing. Cuba begins to invest in its people education, and makes it compulsory for everyone to go back to school, re-educating people with new education methods, in a progressive basis, to ensure the workforce isn't depleted. Argentina become closer to the Cubans, Giving Cuba a greater hold on America's Southern Continent.

The US secretly sends a man to hire a group of mercs to pose as terrorists and stage a take over of the Brazilian government by assassinating many key people. After they succede the US is the first to send aid, witch of course includes a large millitary force to hunt down these "Terrorists" in the name of world "Peace."
the man gos missing and is never seen or heard from again. and the money was stolen prior to the terrorists hit, thus leaving no trace of the US's involvment...

OOC: as a note the UK dosent even have a launch site for space craft and its 2007, this is 1966. i think you should take baby steps there..just a thought=P and i guess thats wrong because russia detanated a nuke in a test and they didin't say it killed everything in such a large area.
IC: The US contenues being it's evil self while trying to convince the UK to join them against russia. by promising to help the UK make nukelear weapons and space ships if they cease helping canada and aid the US against the russian threat.
