Ra'el was busy overseeing the construction of the Kraden Defense Fleet when the Meral City Sensor Station picked up erratic biosigns on a direct course with the Sector they had shared with the Republic of the Sphere.

OOC: nope they are very close to the borg, though swarmlings are basicly serglings, and they do use beasts, they are realy a mix of everybodys worst nightmares combind, zerg, borg, and a few others. but they areint realy all that powerful, they just well swarm you, hence their name, they compleatly overwhelm you with sheer numbers, and the have shields, but i would say each of our ships is worth 10 escort hives, its the hive and juggernoughts you have to watch out for, on my other site they almost wiped me and 6 other guys out, it was my nova planit killers that bailed us out lol.  The alerts blared over our worlds emergency speakers, and within moments every able bodyed man and women over the age of 16 was going to get weapons and the fleets were moveing into postion, while everyone else hid in bunkers... |

Ra'el, weary of the Republic of the Sphere's predicament, decided to send several Legions of Kraden Troopers to reinforce the Republic's position on their homeworld.
70 Kraden Dreadnoughts and 500 Corvettes joined the Republic's fleet.

Talon strides onto his bridge and hails the kraden "Thanks for the aid" he signs off and readys his fleet of around 600 mixed capitol ships. while his ground forces ready their defences, and his planitary shield powers up...

Talon transmite a message "Please clear a path for my Super and Hyper MAC(Magnetic Accelerated Cannon) stations to fire" A moment later as the fleets pull apart 400 super mac shells and 100 hyper mac shells hurtle towards the swarm fleet, the resulting damage is emence, 3 juggernoughts and 37 escort hives are guted, many other are left with weak or no shields, and the hive takes many dierect hits..to no effect...

"Take Defensive Positions!" said Ra'el calmly as je sat on the bridge of his Dreadnought ship. It overshadowed and outsized all of the other ships in the fleet. As the Swarm neared, the fighter squadrons were called out, and the battle commenced.

As swarm darts flashed into fireballs everywhere, Talon stood cooly on his bridge, and watched ships on bothsides explode, or simply be pumled till they are disabled. "Move in formation, Beta-3-Cartos-Salon-17. At the highist point in the arc fire full spread against these 10 ships, at these points" He orders typeing in the locations and targets...

As the battle progressed, Ra'el understood the futility of resisting these monsters.
"Dreadnought to all Kraden warriors. Retreat back to Galdor Prime! Retreat!"
The fleet left the Republic's Capital Planet, leaving the Republic to fend for themselves...

Slowly the swarm were beaten back, and finaly after many hours they retreated from the system.
"All forces may stand down" Boomed the warning speakers all over the stations and citys...
