Actualy Anti-matter explodes if it touches any matter of any kind. it can't burn at all... So mabey he could be killed by a plasma conduit exploding as he ejects the core?

Johns right, and I think I have a fever just because we agree on something. No but seriously, the facts support him entirely, on impact with any form of matter, gas, liquid or solid it explodes, so it would make more sense if they were somehow feeding off it, and trapped in the magnetic field inside the anti-matter containers, which of course stop the anti-matter exploding with the pods.

hehe, well i do spend most of my time reading about phyisics and science=P
but i still think a pasma based fire would be a good idea. It would be hot enough to realy burn him so its an idea.

Perhaps we could draw on Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, when Spock fixed the warp core, I dont know exaclt what he did, but he restored power getting the ship "Out of danger" we could incorporate a similar concept, where Bligh dies from radiation.
