I was thinkig that we could maybe discover a new speices and two choice of how it could play out:
A) Were exploring a new planet and we come across the speices completely by accient and we make nice and create a new allience
B) Were flying trough space when we see a bably damaged ship floating in space and we save the crew aboard, they are treated by the Doc and we take them home and we make friends with there Government
Or
C) Were flying though the species space and they fire apon us and we try ot start degoations with them after a small fire fight either someone get kidnapped and we launch a rescue and save them or we make peace and have new friends.
Comments?

Well lassy, I'd have to say, that all three is PERFECT YAY! If you do the follow-ING! thats ah; Were exploring a new planet and we come acros the species completely by accident, then as were flying threw space (around the planet) the enemy ship (who don't know were on the surface) fire upon us, and we retaliate (naturally folks, naturally), and as we all do, the people on the planet (our away team, and the yolkle locals) don't know what to do, we can't (away team) beam up because the deflector screens are up, so they remain, however! just a single phaser burst causes them to become badly damaged, they surrender, then doccy gives em all check ups, and we live hapily ever after, I mean, we take them back in tow (by tractor beam none less folks) to their planet, and THEN we form and alliance. Hows that sound miss?

Well, this could be the salvation for this site in terms of episode 2 season 2
thats 2+2 deal! woo, as we all know that episode 1 is automatically taken up by the season finale/ premiere of season 1 and 2 respectively, therefore, if this is the next episode, that would make it episode two... unless there's another episode in place
the only problem I have, is what are these aliens going to be called? and we really need to work on what these alien species are like before we just chuck em in I'm sure you have 'some' sort of idea.

Tarrens:
Homeworld The Tarren people are native to the M class moon Vanaarus which orbits closely to a large gas giant in a sytem with twelve planets
Other Worlds Ocenacia, an ocean world where the Tarren science ministry has moved it's headquarters and here they have built the Ocenacia subaquatic shipyards where Vanaaran exploration craft are built
Mustarn, a stark harsh world home to the Tarren military, here are located the military training facilities as well as strategic command and the subspace relay nexus. In orbit is the military ship contruction and repair yard.
Tanlarith, This jungle world is where Tarren military servicemen go when they have retired from active service as military personnel are forbidden to set foot on the homeworld save the two military elders.
They have any number of outposts scatted about the sector and a little beyond.
Technology Their technology level is for the most part comparable to pre enterprise earth starfleet.
Culture & outlook They are a peaceful spiritual people with a deep conection to nature with a philosophyo f cherishing life and living at peace with their world disturbing the natural order as little as possible
The one acception is their fleet service which is staffed by a kind of draft. Draftees are chosen when they are very young and grow up being trained to be soldiers, and have almost no interaction with normal Tarrens civilization. This was started long ago due to their pacifistic nature that no one wanted to fight and the governemtn had to have a fighting force to defend their world from would be agressors. Thos who serve in the military are forbidden to procreate unless autorized by the highest echelons of the military.
Physical appearance They are taller than humans though generally slighter of build they range from low six foot to mid seven foot range. Their scin ranges from dark blue to indigo to black with silver or white hair which follows a mane like pattern dwon to their upper backs. Their eyes are green or yellow and somewhat large in appearance. They lack noses having instead gill slits on their necks. Certain parts of their bodies have a scaley textture natable outer arms and legs.
Tanrren's do not sleep on beds as do most humanoid species they prefer to recuperate in a fluidic bath, these are usually infused with regenerative flids which are often used to treat minor injuries.
Racial Abilities Able to see with little or no light able to breath air or water Unableto cope well with low oxygen environments
Government Tarren society is ruled by a trilateral cgovernemnt The largest and lowest brange is the grand assembly which is basically all of norvakan society andyone can come to one of the great assembly halls and take part in political discussion debate and vote on culture wide issues.
The next level up is the Senate or Conclave of representatives, this branch handles much of the day to day work of drafting proposals and aproving or overrulling decisions of the other branches.
The Council of Eldars is the highest branch and is often tasked with hancling issues that need immedite attention or for settling disputes by the lower branches. The council consists of 9 eldears five are drawn from normal Tarren society two are drawn from the science ministry and 2 are drawn from the military. The high elder is always chosen from normal Tarren non military or science divisions.
