My first was inspired for this idea by watching the first Jurassic Park. My thinking is this:
What about a episode where the crew visit a planet at the prehistoric like age of development, then things go terribly wrong and the crew end of fending for their lives
My second is an episode idea to go to main subplot of the season. We run into another one of the ships dispatched on this mission, it of of course trying to find help after taking heavy damage from an attack. From whom is the question? The crew themselves do not know and many of the crew are dead including the Captain and are left only with young and green crewmen and women. An away team lead by a second tier officer of the LT commander range (Rudger, Jade, Beathan) lead an away team to re crew the ship and prepare it for battle as the attackers are on their way.
