USS ENDEAVOUR NCC-1718
Built in the 2246 and launched in November of that year this vessel was first Commanded by Captain Michael Fisher for its first 5 year mission. Upon completion of this in 2251 the ship was handed over to Captain James J Archer the great grandson of the famed Captain Jonathan Archer. He remained in command for a further 20 extraordinary years before docking in 2271 for good in that form under that crew.
Commodore Archer as he was now hand picked William Stewart to command the ship for the next 10 years. By 2281 the ship was beginning to show her age at nearly 30 years of service.
She was reassigned for Patrol duty for the next 12 years under Commodore Archer who felt a intimate connection with the ship. After his death in late 2292 the ship was handed over to Captain Alexander Kynes. It was heavily damaged in a battle with the Klingon's on New Years Eve of that year and was later sacrificed by the crew in order to save lives and uphold their duty to protect the diplomats there at the time. The history of this ship spans nearly 50 years and her name shall be forever remembered.
