Zepplin sat down at his new seat behind a open glass panel and a desk, he had no door, as the door outside the operations center covered for that.

Zepplin looked at Naranek with disbelief, moving his head back slightly.
"You know... you don't have to hail us every single time you address us, my names Conor. My duty's? Well; I take care of all special ship functions as well as maintain resources and initiate repairs on systems not realted directly to the engines, thats basically what my role is as the Endeavours Operations Officer." Zepplin replied with a matter of fact tone.

"Interesting, very interesting. I have also noted many officers aboard are young and yet they hold higher ranks, such as yourself. Can you explaine as to why this is?" he asks.

"Well actually the system works like this, first of all you start at Starfleet Adacemy, then after you graduate you are given the rank of Ensign, your already about 19-21 by this time, then if you a good officer you are promoted, roughly every three years or so to the next rank up, as you get higher up in rank, the harder it is to be promoted, but basically Lt. isn't a 'very' senior rank, its a good rank, but the more senior commissioned ranks are Lt. Cmdr, Cmdr and Captain, then you get your Flag ranks..." Zepplin continued talking for a while longer "...and that's why we have young women and men like myself who are fairly young, yet hold relatively high rank and responsibility." Zepplin said a little worn out from speaking.

"Interesting indeed, the Tau take 100s of years to advance in rank. Though we have long lifes so i suppose the Ratio is about the same. It was an interesting time speaking with you, if you require aid in your dutys i am trained in the operations of over 10,000 ships and should be able to give it, farewell Lt. Conor Zepplin, may science clear your way and the light iluminate it" Kosh's head bows deepy(6 inches instead of 2... lol) before he turns and begins to hover away slowly, muttering about young races and younger officers...
