Captain’s Log : Stardate 9611.82
Shortly after the events at Khitomer, I received a subspace message from Admiral Salerno informing me of a disturbing situation. The Olens, a race that have just discovered anti-matter torpedoes, are mobilizing to attack their planetary neighbors, the Norians. These species are startlingly similar in genetic structure however the Norians have been described as warlike and cannibalistic. The Olens apparently dispatched an expeditionary force to research their Norian neighbors, but there has been no word from them since. The Olen have considered this as an act of war, and are preparin to attack.
Lt. Jade, Jarn and I have been sent to the Olen home world to instigate a peace treaty. In Lt. Jade’s absence, Mr. Bligh will be rejoining our crew for this brief mission as temporary Chief of Security on Endeavor. Tom left our crew over a month ago after a family tragedy. After the completion of this mission he will be assigned to the USS Enterprise...
Kynes, Jade, and Jarn walked into the hangar bay. Vorak was waiting for them. "We'll be back in a week or two," said Kynes. "Apparently, the Olen don't fancy a Federation warship in their sector of space... If we need anything, we'll give you a call..." Vorak nodded.
Opening the hatch to the shuttlecraft, Kynes stepped in, following Jarn and Lieutenant Jade. Taking control of the cockpit, Kynes activated the vessel's propulsion systems, and the runabout began to hover. Kynes had been sure to stock up on food and PADDs to read. It was going to be quite a voyage...

NPC :: Tom Bligh - Throughout Mission -
As the shuttlecraft exited the Endeavor, the USS Consignation drifted towards the ship, her shields down. “USS Consignation to the USS Endeavor,” Began the voice of a young officer, “We are ready to transport Lt. Bligh aboard. He is also with a new recruit, a new intelligence officer. Please lower your shields and prepare for transport.”
The bridge was icy with reminiscence. Tom Bligh had been the chief of tactical before he was abruptly forced into leave after the death of his parents. “Also, Admiral Salerno would like to come aboard and discuss your orders while the Captain is on mission.” Came the young voice once again.

Jade turned to the Captain as they left the shuttlebay. "Indeed."

Vorak stepped down greating the crew members. "Welcome back Mr Bligh, you will be acting chief of security until we transport you to the Capatin Hairmen. Mr Trill welcome aboard. Stations please gentlemen, department staff meeting in two hours, I will expect full systems reports then. Dismissed."

As Bligh ::
The feeling of being back on board his first ship was indescribable. Tom glanced over at his old station, now manned by Mr. Litchfield. He gave him a wink and moved over to Lt. Jade’s console. He had always envied Jade for her security station, and now, for a brief period of time, it was his!
As Dorian ::
“What an odd ship!” Dorian Trill said glancing around the bridge of the USS Endeavor. He had never been on such an oddly shaped ship. It was unlike any other ship he had ever served on. This was going to take some time to get use to.
“Commander Vorak?” Asked Mr. Trill walking up to his Commander. “I have a report for the commanding officer of this ship. Admiral Salerno has asked to join us and he will be arriving in a moment.”

In a moment Dorian, Vorak, and Admiral Salerno were all seated around the Ready Room table cups of tea or coffee in this hands. “I’ve called you here to address the issue that Captain Kynes has been sent to resolve. The Olens, a race that have just discovered anti-matter torpedoes, are mobilizing to attack their planetary neighbors, the Norians. Their anti-matter torpedoes are unlike any weapon in the quadrant, as they have special properties provided by their home planet on which they were created. If these weapons are permitted to be fired, they have the ability to destroy an entire planet and deem it uninhabitable.

"This is very serious, do you believe the negotiations will work?" he asked.

“No I do not.” Said Salerno with an unhappy look upon his face. “Your new intelligence office, however, does. He believes that a diplomatic solution to this problem is our best course of action. Captain Kynes is the best diplomat in the fleet, however … “ He broke off. He clearly had made his point and decided not to push it. “What do you recommend Dorian?” He asked the new officer.
“Well, the Captain is fully capable of handling himself, however I want to make sure he is safe. I recommend moved the ship within a light-year of the Olen Home world.” Dorian said piping up.

OOC: Would you mind using the standard font please? Hurts my eyes to lean in so close.
IC: Zepplin had just arrived for the main bridge shift of the day when he noticed Tom at the Security station. "Congradulations 'Commander', The Enterprise is a fine ship, I know that it's 'also' an Execelsior class." He gave out a slight chuckle. "But the Endeavour must be... old in comparison, how was your holiday?" Zepplin asked, hoping that Lieutenant Commander Bligh would too notice his promotion to Lieutenant.

" We will have to avoid detection or the talks could collapse" he replied.

OCC: Connor, Bligh hasn`t been promoted. Also, I really would rather use this font size. For me is keeps everything neat. However, if there is a demand from the site as a whole I would surly change my size.
"Agreed." Said Dorian and Salerno together. "Well, I think that is all. Take us out." Said Salerno, standing up and walking to the door with Mr. Trill. "It's been good seeing you again, Dorian." The two shook hands and left the room.

OOC: Of course, your perogative, I'll start a poll for the rest of us going blind, could you please reply to my post on the bridge as well, and Karl gave the thumbs up for his promotion too.
IC: "Aye sir, It's good to have you back with us." Zepplin said with a smile before ressuming his station. Zepplin noticed a slightly strange reading, so he moved over to the Science station.
"Commander, I'm picking up some speratic energy readings... Sir, you've gotta take a look at this." Commander Vorak came over and saw the energy on the sensors. "What do you make of it? There's on Radiation, no EM, no... there's nothing there accept the visual readings... is it there or isn't it?"

“It seems like a nebula, as odd as that sounds.” Dorian said walking over to the console. Indeed, it seemed like a nebula but it was highly unlikely. “Perhaps it’s in a state of flux or …” Dorian never had a chance to finish his statement. The ship was hit with some sort of low level surge. Dorian fell to his feet, only bruised.
