Episode IX: One More Round

OOC: the reason they can feel getting hit by weapons is because of physics. The energy is transfered through the hull and thus can bypass the enertia dampeners... learn physics before you go acting like god.

IC: The Admiral fingered his chin. =COM= Lt. Clark, re-rout the Impulse drives through the standard power core, and then feed the standard power core with the warp cores energy. That should release the stress from the warp coils and allow us to contenue evasives. =COM= he ordered. "The Romulans areint answereing us so Captain kynes i hearby clear you to use any means you wish to rescue the Phoenix, this includes destroying the Romulans." The admiral says.

Meanwhile Rudger swings the ship into a tight swinging turn that places them behind the two birds of prey...

[Captain Alexander Kynes]

OOC: Conor W, let me remind you that you're 11 hours ahead of me. You're farther ahead in Time Zones then anyone else on the sim. While you may be energetic and rested, at that same time I'll be very tired, and not entirely willing to wake up and post. Please forgive me if this seems outrageous to you, but I need sleep.

IC: "Captain Harrington. We'll cover you. Get your engines online and retreat back to Starbase. We'll put the Endeavour in between you and the Romulans. Whats your status report?" asked Kynes, giving a quick look at Rudger to move the ship into the assigned position.

The fast Endeavour Shot forward under the skilled hand of Rudger who guided it into its postition.

Meanwhile the Admiral stood sternly behind the captain, his hands clasped behind his back...

"Sir, the Romulans are charging weapons and breaking formation. They're attempting to flank us..."

"Lieutenant Litchfield, charge torpedoes and target weapons on the first warbird. Avoid the second until the first is incapacitated."

OOC: No, your quite right Captain, it was just you were required for sleep, and Karl... well, he could've at least made it make sense if he wanted the bridge back, fine, it doesnt matter to me, but he should've been in sickbay and reported to the bridge he was returning, not miraculously appear after being knocked out, its cool, we'll ignore his post so he can go back and read the story this time.

IC as Harry: "We have a couple of torpedos left, but shields are gone, and we can have full impulse in... 2 minutes according to engineering, were at full thrusters, a tractor beam push could help us escape, we'll ready torpedoes for detonation into space. Hopefully, we can hit them with a couple of blind shots. Good Luck Captain." Harry closed the channel.

"Helm. prepare for a 'tractor push', just set course for the starbase, and the Endeavour will do the rest. Tactical, the moment we start moving off at impulse speeds, fire all our remaining torpedoes in a wide burst and set for 15 second detonation."

A slightly out of sync set of "Aye sir" came in response

"=COMM=Bridge to Sickbay, how is the Captain?"

IC as Zep: "Commander! Romluan bird of prey's decloaking aft!"

[Commander Vorak]

"Warbird decloaking!" he replied "Tactical fire!"

[zepplin]

Two torpedoes fired, when the detonation torpedoes from the Phoenix came in and threw the three ships to either side ofthe explosion, damaging both ships, the Phoenix impulse was degrading.

IC as Harry: "=COMM= Engineering, report!=COMM= Tactical, we might've hit the Endeavour accidently, good try, but we may have caused more harm then good."

[Commander Vorak]

He raised an eyebrow "we were just hit by torpedos, from the Phoenix."

[zepplin]

IC as Harry: "Can we open up a channel to the Endeavour Lieutenant?"

"No we cant sir, our sub-space tranceiver is broken, we can recieve messages, but we can't send them."

"Great, thats just..."

"=COMM=Commander! We have Impulse speeds!"
"Thank you Mr. Williams, Now Jenny!"

The Phoenix jumped to full impulse avoiding two smaller plasma torpedoes, barely.

[Lt Matina Jade]

The rooms was silent as John Drago entered the transporter room. He came from behind the operator and took him down with a chop, taking over the controls.

Meanwhile the Jade was still at work on the monitor as it now read.

Ensign Sarrar

"Hmmm a Vulcan" she said "or maybe.. Computer the other?" she spoke.
"John Drago" Came the reply.
"Computer, would there be any reason for these two officers to access these files?"
"Negative."
"What changes were made?"
"Classified."
"Dam more hacks! These guys are good."
She worked for and moment then asked again.
"What files?"
"Personnel history."
A look of terror came across her face before she heard an alert alarm. The shields were dropping. Ensign Sarrar. She ran out for room to engineering.

[zepplin]

"Commander, we are reading some one transporting... Our shields have just been lowered!" Zepplin yells out.

"Someone is transporting onto the Romulan ship, we must fire while there shields are still down."

Zepplin ran to another console.

"Damn! He got away, I am attempting to re-raise our shields."

[Commander Vorak]

"I appears someone from the engine room has lowered them" he reported "evasives!"

[Lt Matina Jade]

She ran into the engine room and saw the Vulcan working at the console.
She ran up to him punching him down before taking the console. To her surprise as she was working Sarrar stood and punched her in the back trying to retake the controls. As he saw the other engineering staff move toward him he pressed a com panel on his wrist.
"Beam out, now!"
Sarrar disappeared in a shimmer of light as she looked up.
She leaned up and started to press a few buttons.
"Clark you better know how to decode that or we are all dead" she cried and pressed the com.
-COM- Bridge, I am in the engine room. The Traitors are Drago and Sarrar collectively. They have beamed aboard the Romulan ship. -COM-

The Admiral walked over behind Litchfield and said "Tacticle, beam 3 photon torpedos into their ship at these points and detanate them." He marked a few points inside the ship off. A moment later the ship the traiters lost both its warp Nacels and its weapons bank, destroying its abillity to fight...
