"but careful Lt. We can't appear hostile, if we can talk to them before they can decide we are the enemy, convince them we are their friend, then, this could be a huge advantage for the federation, think of what we could learn from these people."

"If their from our future we shouldint even talk to them, i sugjest we help them get back to their time, and dont do anything to advance the ships tech. What if by havething them give us tech we are intercepted on our way home by klingons or romulans? And they take the tech? It could end very badly for the federation" i say...

"Sir we are being hailed" said a crewman. Vorak moved over and pressed the speakers on. "This is Lt Castio, have the Romulans been defeated?" asked a voice.

OOC: Comman-DA!! Thanks, now we have to claim, that they arent from that TNG episode, but instead an alternate reality, thanks alot, I was going to tie it in that the distortion sent them back too far, but nooooOOOoo, it has to be all romulans, no "oh they were helping the klingons, not very nice sir, I'll try and deal with this the best I can now, I dont expect you to delete like three posts or whatever it is. (BTW wth does "OOC" stand for? I get IC, In Convo right? OOC is Out Of Convo?)
IC: "Wow, McVanlen, thats crazy talk! assuming that thier techknowledgy would be take nby the enemy, sm'on, we destroy the ship long before they ever could get their hands on it im sure, I know I'd sacrifice my life before handing over techknowledgy to the Klingons or Romulans any day wouldn't you?"
OOC: my apologizes commander, you had every right to change the story, I just felt a little bit annoyed, but, its a free federation right?

"There are many reasons Lt that we shouldint interfer with the timeline!, Commander, i sugjest we tell them the date and then ask how we can help return them to their time, also that we include none of this in our report to starfleet, they may have the same mind as Mr conor here, and i truely belive interfering with the timeline is a VERY bad idea, Sir" i say....

"Lt. surely you can see the possibilites here... actually, your right, in a way, its almost like a 'self' Prime Directive, as in, us, the future us I mean, are a more advanced civilisation, then the present, or past us, so technicaly, they probably would refuse to help us." Zepplin had to agree, there was 'some' logic to what McVanlen said after all
OOC: dam it! why did you make me be reasonable? lol

OOC:stands for out of character. Oh and btw i didn't change the story this is the enterprise C from the episode yesterdays enterprise as I'm sure you were getting at. Mcvalen did a stupid post about there being no romulans so ignore it.
"Lt there are no Romulans here." Silence. "Dam it! we have to go back."

OOC: Dont mind us illogical humans Mr. Vorak, we tend to act irrationally from time to time. BTW who has to go back, I dont understand... I'll just assume you meant them.
"Commander, I believe that if we work together, you on the bridge and myself down in engineering, we could make a resinance pulse, ripping space and time, however, as to the right time period, it would have to be very localized. If the 'Enterprise' could tell us, just the year they came from, that much we would need to know, with their help we may be able to send them back to their correct time period.
