"Captain Castillo," began Kynes. "To answer your question. You are in the year 2292. Can you use your vessel's power to help sustain the distortion?"

OOC: Lovely buttons skip
IC:"Captain, neither ship alone can sustain it, however, if your ship comes at it from a diagonal angle, and so does our ship, but on a 90 degree angle to yours, and we both simultaneously emit a large enough focused burst from our deflector shields, and use a sub-space field generated by our nacelles, I think that just might hold it open long enough atleast according to my ops officer, as for the right time, I have no idea how to solve that Captain."

OOC: Thanks mate, I got them from Phoenix's Utility Officer skin, and thought they worked well.
IC: "I'm sure the future vessel well know more then us." "Captain Kynes to Castillo... What should we do?"

OOC: By the way, you don't need Captain's approval for everything!
Kynes gave a quick nod of approval to Zepplin and Clark, before tapping a few command codes into the operations console, which had now been vacated after Zepplin's departure into the turbolift.

----------------------MODIFICATIONS COMPLETED------------------------ "=^= Captain, this is Zepplin, we're done here sir, but the rift may not be able to increase enough in diameter before the deflectors give out, give us a minute to get out of here before we start it up."
The two of them got out
"Let her rip Captain."

The Captain gave the go-ahead on the Bridge as Lt. Bligh Fired the bam out of our delfectors.
ROAR!!!
The Deflector went right above tolerance limits in seconds! as the distortion began to strech in size
"Tolerance for Deflector dish at 140% and holding. The Diameter of the rift is only 50 meters roughly, as it is fluxuating still, the beam will need to last another 2 minutes if the diameter is to be successfully large enough." Zepplin said, as the whole ship was shaking under the extreme pressure caused by the dish, because the enertial dampeners weren' compensating enough.

"Route all remaining power to shields. We don't want to get sucked in as well!" cried Kynes as the Endeavour rumbled. Turning to Litchfield, Kynes gave a quick nod of approval for his request.

"Sir, we lost 50% of our impulse speed, and droping at a rapid rate of 5% pers minite! in 10 minites we will be unable to move and we will start being pulled in at the same time, at the same rate, in 13 minites we will be sucked into the rift. I sugjest aborting and fleeing while we still can" I say...

"Aye sir, when we are down to 20% i will start brakeing off. We may be able to warp away even after we lose impulse, but i would rather be safe then sorry" I say...
