The Endeavor picks up its captain from a system on the verge of destroying itself. Why working in the system trying to prevent such a thing the Endeavour receives a distress call from a Valen escape pod that has been traveling for weeks after its mother ship was destroyed in a near by system. After picking them up and helping with the doctors fine care a murder occurs on board and the Valens are prime suspects as are perhaps spys. During the murder investigation Ms Juliet Snow is in the wrong place at the wrong time and hears something she wasn't meant to. Before she can tell anyone she is attacked and although saved by Beathan she is set in a deep coma from a head wound. With no other orthodox options Vorak and a mind meld is her only hope. They soon discover the Valen and the alien war are not in the same area by coincidence.

A couple of things, the episode is going to be called XIV not XIIII right? Second, As this is the second last episode of the season, and the season finale has been decided, will it be a two parter into the start of the next season or will it finish this season? And third, do you reccomend that people who weren't part of mission four: the Valens, review that episode before posting in this next one? thanks, and if someone else knows any of these answers feel free to jump in if you already have confirmation or something like that.

Ah thanks for the correction on numerals, and yes reading episode 4 may help you. Also the season final is a two parter.

OK, I've assumed that the Olen ships in the picture are enemy ships, if i am in error here, please let me know, but it would make sense that the Olen government would want the Valens we picked up, even though the government itself is on good terms with the federation, its still plasuable that they would send out ships once we pick up that escape pod.

Well in this mission, the government of Olen Prime has some very serious problems to work out, so they might be a bit easy on us.

That was just some fill-in dialogue, and I wrote that to save time, because I wanted to write the whole post and not have to wait a few hours for you to post half a line.
