Episode V: The Voices of Reason

[Captain Alexander Kynes]

Called to mediate Peace talks between the two major rivaling factions of the Altanian system, the Endeavour is immersed in a deadly civil war. To make matters worse, two of the Endeavour's top personnel have been kidnapped!

Will the Endeavour be able to bring this culture to peace, or will it be destroyed in the process?

I think its quite clear that the Altanians are not peaceful, but I wouldn't mind, if you read this Jade or Rudger, to use that mixed vulcan, part whatever you want, as a means of escape, you could claim he was a scientist on a planet somewhere and was captured not too long ago, or something like that, because we really haven't explored that extension very far yet.

Austrailian Conor makes a good point. It's safe to say the Altanian's would want to use more then two off-worlders to strengthen their fight against the 'barbaric' peoples.
