Introduction

Welcome new member to the USS Endeavour NCC 1895-A

We hope you enjoy you time here and become an active and valued member of our community. Remember the key is your character so create a good one, your role on the ship doesn't make you. Your character and its interaction however does. Please visit positions available and post a profile in the crew manifest before you proceeding.

Registering

If you haven't already you will need to register through the usual proboards channels of clicking register and entering the required data. You will be sent a confirmation email with your activation code. Once you are active you are ready to play.

Applying for a position

You will need to go to the board 'registering' and then to available positions. Then click into the thread and read through the positions roster. Any that don't have a name beside it you can apply for.
Please then hit 'reply' and make a formal request for that desired position.
Once either Commander Vorak or Captain Kynes has accepted you. You may begin. However we suggest doing this first....

Profile

If you look under the main Endeavour banner you will see the navigation bar. Go over to 'profile' and click it. You will now be on your profile page and as you can see its very basic and needs updating. Go to 'Modify Profile' and now you see a whole series of fields you can edit. You can now enter you Age, Location, Time Zone and other useful information.
You can also change your user name which we suggest changing to you characters full name and perhaps rank.
You can also change your email and password if need be.

Now you are ready to get going.

Episodes

This is the most important function of the ship. It is where the main episodes are played out as though Star Trek Endeavour were a Tv series spin off. Under the main board you can see episode art and information which allows you to get an idea of the upcoming or in progress episode is about.
We recommend reading all replies before posting as you do not wish to look silly or ignorant.
If you have made a new character and the episode is in full swing we recommend also you wait for the new episode as this will allow your character a proper introduction. Lounge on the other boards building your character and chatting if this is the case. Do not become inactive!

Other In Character Boards

This is were you build your character, have more time to make friends and add a real depth to the ship and its world. The sections of the ship are clearly shown by the board name.
You can also make subplots that take up the year on the ship not shown in the episodes.

Out Of Character Boards

This is where you can about anything as yourself.
The Ten forward lounge is for basic chat and the sub boards provide ability to RP non Endeavour short Rps and Post Art and Literature done by yourself.
The Endeavour Board is for suggestions and discussion about the SIMM itself. This includes posting ideas for episodes.

Overview

This site is for fun, follow the rules and respect each other and you will do just fine. Please post as much as possible, mainly on the episode and try and remain as active as possible. If you will be inactive for a long time or a period when you might be needed please post in Leave Of Absence or you position and rank may be stripped.
If this happens do not worry you can always just reapply so long as you are returning to an active role.
