20th Century Party

[Captain Alexander Kynes]

Kynes secretly moved to the computer, and changed the musical selection to Jazz master Oscar Peterson's 'Nighttime.' As the music started playing, he felt much more relaxed. Now he didn't feel so awkward in this 'vintage' attire.
"Bartender, can you make me a martini on the rocks?" Kynes asked.

[Rudger McVanlen]

Looking around Rudger says "Hey i was enjoying that" At the sudden change of music. "Jade, can you dance the Tango?" he asks, getting a sudden idea...

[Lt Matina Jade]

"I do nto dance" she said firmly "at least let me get drunk before you ask a question like that, then again you may recall the last time."

[Rudger McVanlen]

"Heh, well, are you sure you don't dance even with me?" Rudger asks florishing his coat again with a broad grin...

'Awful persistent,' Kynes thought to himself, quietly observing Jade and Rudger's dialogue.

[zepplin]

The Jazz music ended and a mumbo started to play, with lots of drums and a fast upbeat. Many people started dancing to it, including Conor with Lisa.

"I didn't know you could dance the Mumbo, that's cool!" he says, continuing to dance with her.

[Lisa Rogers]

Lisa laughed as she did a complex figure of eight with her feet, " thanks, i picked it up over the years and how about you mr big shot, i never knew that you could dance so well"

[zepplin]

Zepplin span in a small circle towards her, meeting up with her hands and dancing again.

"Not busy this evening... Lisa, may I call you Lisa?" he says, getting carried away with the percussion a bit much.

As the two contiued dancing lisa replied " No not busy tonight and yes you may call me Lisa Mr zepplin, now why don't you tell me a bit about yourself?"

[zepplin]

Zepplin was slightly tired so he lead her off the dance floor to make it easier to talk with her.
"What would you like to know my dear?" he said as he ordered an Ale.

" Like where you come from, who you get your dashing good looks from, or why you joined start fleet?" Lisa inquired as she steped left

Conor and Lisa are out of sight, and Conor whispers something in her ear.

"My quarters are on the next deck, if you want to talk to me privately..." he stops for a moment, and considers her questions.

"I'm from Washington DC Earth, I got my good looks from my mother and father obviously, and I joined starfleet to... well, frankly to explore myself; and others." he says as he grabs hold of her hips, and moves his arms slowly, but pacely up her body. He meets lips with her and passionately kisses her for a moment, before stopping to ask a question.

"Should we go?" he says with a smile.

Lisa felt the blood rushing from her face as zepplin kissed her, There were defenitly fireworks between them,

"Should we go?" he says with a smile.

Lisa nodded as She led zepplin ot the nearest turbo lift.....

[Commander Vorak]

Vorak raised and eyebrow and turned back to the Captain.
"I am glad it is only every 7 years."

[Lt Matina Jade]

"I envy you" she says and turns back to Rudger "Go dance with yourself" she says pushing him back.
