"Lieutenant McVanlen, veer us behind one of the asteroids. Commision armed repair crews to damaged areas!"

[Rudger McVanlen]

"Aye sir, pulling off attack" Rudger says, suddenly on the screen the Hibrina's shields fail, and she falls under attack from waves of fire. Everyone can tell Rudger is battleing for controll of himself, being torn between following his orders and ramming the bastards to save his father. Finaly he breaks away and ducks behind an asteroid. A moment later a tear falls on the console before him. Suddenly the area is bathed in light, as a strange ship drops out of Slip stream. At site of it the Drengins stop moveing, and on board the ships being borded the Drengin stop fighting and seam to hold their postions. Then a voice bursts over every com channel includeing even the most secure. "Drengin, you will stop this. You are yet young, as are those you fight. We are reserching in this system, your fighting is distracting our work, and this murder is sikening out crewmembers, they wont man their stations with so many dieing before their time. It is insanity, and both forces should be ashamed of steeling life from one another. Remember our power drengin. Now, take this... blood bath of horror elsewhere, and allow time for healing" The ship swoops in and its beams disable everyones shields, it beams fighters back into the mother ships, and borders back into their ships, wounded to the med bays. Then it pushes the fleets apart and the sits between them, its weapons glowing blue. "We humbly accsept your word oh Children of the gods, Smiters of Life, Bringers of Death. All praise the Tau, all praise their republic. To home brothers, we are done here this day. The gods have spoken... they will die another day" The drengin turn, and promptly warp away. The Tau ship likewise turns and jumps to slipstream, leaveing the humans gapeing at what had happend...



OOC: i know your all like wtf? Read the drengin post to learn wtf just happend. and btw this isint over, just not yet, soon. and we are still at war, but we just saw a new race, the vulcans have only heard about them through the klingons/ romulans. and humans after haveing intercepted their messages.

2 hours later...

IC as John: John stares around at the other two captains, and says "Well, report". The other captain says "Well my ships still in repairs, and it was the Endeavour who got the best view of the ship" He turns to kynes along with john to see what kynes had to say...


OOC: the ship was basicly a very long streamlined tear drop shaped craft, and fairly large, with bulbs along its hull for weapons. so basicly describe it or not, w/e. and it was purple.

"The Science Department was able to get a clear reading of the alien starship. Our sensor array was damaged during the battle, and we only received garbled results from our scans."
Kynes looked about.
"How should we report this to Starfleet Command?"

[Rudger McVanlen]

IC as John: "Well, my report will say we were saved from certain death by the Tau. We have intercepted their messages before but never seen one. And i will state that every ship did their best but that we need more ships to beat them. This system seams safe... but i would like to know how they are reserching us. They mentioned about tests and i don't like that. They might be doing any kind of reserch on us without us knowing, i heard their cloaking puts klingon and romulans to shame. But thats for another report, Your orders are to dock with orbit station and repair. Once your ships are in tip top shape the Dougles and the Hibrina are to stay on station while the Endeavour gos on its way. Any questions?" Says John...

[Commander Vorak]

Vorak spoke up for the first time during these meeting, his silence was a result of contemplation.
"Our readings will be ready within the hour, Shall I have them transferred to your ship?"

[Rudger McVanlen]

"Yes please. I have also put in Recomindations for accomidations for your ships. You fought well out there" John replies...

[Commander Vorak]

Vorak nodded and headed out to the bridge to run his reports.

[Captain Alexander Kynes]

Kynes gives John McVanlen a nod of approval, then steps out.
"I must be off... The Endeavour will be heading out further, perhaps to get to the bottom of these unwarranted attacks."

[Rudger McVanlen]

"Good then I will see you later Captain, dismissed" Johns says...

Kynes nods, salutes McVanlen, and heads out the door, the terrors of this new alien race fresh in his mind...
