Captain Kynes was sitting in his ready room when he opened his communicator, and tapped in the channel for the Department Heads. "Captain Kynes to all Senior Officers," he said. "If you're all not too busy, please report to the Observation Lounge for a Meeting."

Kynes shrugged. "Ahh, the usual... Reports on Department work and such. Would you like some tea? Coffee?" asked Alexander, walking to the Nutrition Dispenser.

Alexander nodded as he poured himself a steaming cup of coffee, he took a sip and placed the mug on the table. Sitting down at the end of the long table, he turned to Vorak, who sat beside him. "So, what's the latest news in Science?"
