Kynes could see that Zepplin was stressed about something, so although he was not thirsty, he decided to have a drink anyways, perhaps to calm Zep's nerves a bit.
"Computer, 2 Glasses of Orange juice. Cold"
"Affirmative," replied the Computer.
Kynes handed Zepplin his glass.
"So, what's on your mind?"

"Well, I understand that it wasn't a fair test, but, well I was wondering sir, what did you do on the test? I mean, I've heard it's winnable, James Kirk won it back when he was at the academy, but how did you deal with the no win situation Captain?"
