Biography:
Daniel dosn't know his parents, as he was abandoned after birth, a rare thing in these times. Luck was on his side however and he was found by a Starfleet Cadet who was walking around San Frasisco. The Cadet took him back to the Academy and a Instructer took him to one of the Orphages. Dispite the hardship in his early years Daniel excedded expectations and did very well in school he also got adopted by A Lt Steve Canon and his wife Lt Mary Canon both Starfleet Officers. When he got old enough he decieded join StarFleet. He went to the Academy and was taught by the same Instructer who had sent him to the orpahaige over a decade ago. He chose to do Engineering as his major but he took a minor in Operations as well. He also took a short course in Emergency Medicine. He Graduated at the top of class in Engineering and Second to top in Operations
Daniel's first post was the USS Hood where he served as an Ensign in enginnering for 2 1/2 years, he the transfered to The USS Endeavour, where he took the post of Assistant Chief Engineer. In 2292 The Cheif Engineerw as Killed In Action in the Incident with the Klingons, Daniel was chosen to Become Cheif Engineer
