"Good Luck, Mr. Campbell," says Kynes, arming himself with a Phaser Rifle.

As the door of an airlock is broken through, several squads of Drengin rush through the corridors of the Endeavour.
"Lieutenant Jade," says Kynes, concerned.
"Are your Security forces ready?"

The bridge became rife with negative energy and emotion as Drengin Star Marines stomped in, and started shooting. In the frenzied firefight, Kynes was hit in the shoulder. For the first few seconds, he didn't really notice the searing pain pulsating over his body. Only after taking cover behind a console did he feel the effects of the Plasma ray. He gasped, took out a phaser and quickly targeted three of the Drengin. Firing, they fell to the ground, blanketing the battered floor...

leaping behind my console i draw my phasor, and blast another drengin. I duck as a plasma beam turns my console into a flameing hulk of slag and sparking wires...

[Lt Matina Jade]

Jade rushes onto the bridge witha battlion of troops shooting each of them in turn all.
"Sorry I was late, was held up" she said.

[Rudger McVanlen]

"Dang, my consoles down" I say looking at the sparking hulk where my console used to be...

[Commander Vorak]

"I have rerouted the Con to my station Captain, I will attemp to go to warp."

'"Understood Commander. I'll lead the defense measures of the ship. Ms. Jade, fortify critical positions Engineering, Security, the Computer Core, and the Bridge!"
The wound on his shoulder was getting worse... But a proper trip to the Doctor's never really crossed one's mind when surrounded by flying distruptor bolts...

Seeing the captains wounds i say "Sir, i think i should take you to the doctor, you are injured" I run across the bridge to him and duck down with him for a closer look "Sir, this looks bad. Please let me take you to sick bay, im sure Lt. Jade and Cmdr Vorak can handle these Drengin without you Sir" I add with a worried look...

Kynes could see the infection was getting worse.
"We can't leave the bridge! There are too many Drengin out there. I'll get the first aid kit," says Kynes, scrambling for the compartment in the wall, containing Emergency Medical Equipment.

Kynes takes the hypospray, and applies it to his neck. Some of the pain is alleviated, but it doesn't heal the blast wound.
"We have to hold them out," Alexander tells Rudger.

"Two of their vessels are attacked to our hull" he reported.

Flt lt to all pilots:-
get rid of those ships attached to our hull and then disable the engines of the mothership so that we have a clean get-away, and when i recieve a landing request i dont want to see any engine capibilities on that ship!! Understood, good. Fall out!

Flt lt to Commander Vorak:-
sir when I call you next i would like u to hit the warp and get us out of here, my men will be on board and in one piece

Wiping out the rest of the Drengin marines on the bridge, Kynes went back to the comforts of his chair. The pain on his shoulder wasn't enough to stop him from doing his job.
"McVanlen, full impulse! Take us away from the planet!" cried Kynes.
As the Endeavour swam away from Nea'ier Relm VI, Campbell's Fighters managed to shoot off the clamps of the Drengin patrol ships.
"Sir, the remnants of the Drengin Fleet are moving off! The Drengin Marines are retreating from all main areas of the ship. Pockets of resistence remain however..."
"Beam the remaining hostiles onboard Endeavour onto the planet," replied Kynes.
"The Drengin ships can pick them up later."
"Affirmative, Captain..."

As the last Federation fighters docked within Endeavour's hangar bay, the Endeavour blasted off at high warp, for distant stars and new adventures.

This had certainly been a difficult trek...

"Sir, Permision to go fall into bed" Rudger says, only half jokeing. He has circles under his eyes, a still fresh phaser blast on his lower back, and has been on duty for 14 hours without rest...
