PHOENIX FLEET TIMELINE (written by Karl Dutton aka Vorak)

2063-The Phoenix the first warp vessel is launched under Zefferan Cochran

2150- The keel is laid for the first warp 5 starship, the Enterprise, designated NX-01.

2161- Enterprise Nx 01 is decommissioned and turned into a museum

2245- The U.S.S. Enterprise, NCC-1701, is assembled in the San Francisco shipyards under the watchful eye of its future commander, Captain April. One of the designers of the Enterprise is Laurence Marvick


2247- The USS Endeavour is launched under command of Captain Michael Fisher


2250- Captain Robert April relinquishes command of the Enterprise to Captain Christopher Pike. Pike's executive officer was a female Starfleet officer whom he called "Number One."

2264- Christopher Pike ends his service as Captain of the U.S.S. Enterprise and hands over command to James T. Kirk.

2266- The USS Phoenix 1832 is launched under command of Captain John Mcvalen

2271- The U.S.S. Enterprise returns to Earth to space dock at the end of its historic five year mission.
This final trip was the last star-hour Kirk would log for the next two and a half years, William Decker takes command.

2273- Kirk retakes command of the Enterprise

2274- Mcvalen is Promoted to Commodore and command of the new refitted Phoenix is given to Captain Jonathan Nimoy

2280- The Federation begin mining operations for dilithium on the "sea bed" of Krea Prime


2285- The USS Enterprise is destroyed

2286- After helping with a probe that nearly destroys earth the crew of the Enterprise is givern the USS Enterprise NCC-1701 A. Originally USS Yorktown.

2293- The USS Endeavour is Relaunched under command of Captain Alexander Kynes and is destroyed soon after and replaced with an Excelsior class. First Contact is made with the Valens.

, The USS Enterprise A is decommissioned and the Enterprise B is launched.

2301- The Original Phoenix is mothballed

2344- The Enterprise-C is destroyed near Narendra III.

2360- The USS Galaxy is Launched under command of Captain Conor Wainer

2363- U.S.S. Enterprise (NCC-1701-D) completes assembly at the Utopia Planetia shipyards.

2365- A new version and registry of the USS Phoenix, nebula class is launched. When this ship is compounded after the actions of Captain Maxwell its name and registry are changed to a new vessel.


2371- USS Enterprise D is destroyed

2372- The USS Tranquility is launched under command of former USS Galaxy first officer Jade Mandelo

2375- Phoenix Station and the third USS Phoenix(1832 A) are built. The USS Tranquility is made part of the "Phoenix task force."

2377- The Station and its ships are destroyed. Only the USS Tranquility survives.

2378- The USS Phoenix is brought out of Mothballs and used for one mission before being destroyed. Its crew are givern a new ship USS Phoenix 1832 -B, Excalibur class.

2379- The Krelak War

2380- The USS Feeny is launched

2383- The USS Hornet A and USS Lichfield B are launched

Do you mean the Galaxy Class Enterprise-D? That was quite a new design in TNG time.

Yes, it was, not as new as the Commissioned Prototype, USS Galaxy, that was surely Commissioned more than three years before the soon to be Flag Ship of the Federation.

yes, but there are still a few mistakes, like 2264 should be 2265, that was the pilot date, 2269+2.5 = 2271(.5) which is correct... if it were the time Kirk 're'-takes the Enterprise, having had his 'five' year mission (2265, 2266, 2267, 2268, 2269, there I counted for you, just so there's no confusion)

umm, official? well if thats the case, the offical can't do maths because.

TOS is set 300 years in the future

the pilot (no, not 'The Cage') 'Where No Man Has Gone Before' was shot in 1965+ 300= oh what do you know! 2265, isn't that interesting? 'just'-'like'-'I'-'said'

my previous five year explanation, as well as the +2.5 years, which Decker quotes in the movie 'Star Trek: The Motion Picture' onto the 2269, makes 2271, so it is clear that either your information is wrong, or the entire show can't do maths, because 2273, is way way way later then when 'mathimatically' and logically speaking kirk would've retaken the Enterprise.

ummmm you do know that when they say things like "It is 300 years in the future..." they normaly are doing a ball park estimate and rarely if ever do they actualy mean its 300 years. besides if the guys who made the series say its this date or that then ummm... they are right because they kinda...you know... made the show.
