Episode XVI: Future's End (Part II)

[Commander Vorak]

At that moment as Vorak turned to give some more reports to the Captain a sweeping motion came threw the ship. It was green and rather aquatic. As it passed the bridge all stared as it went threw one person after another. When it was gone the Captain had disappeared with it.

"Locate the Captain!"

[Beathan MacAinmire]

Beathan ran to the wall panel and activated the comm ling.
=COM=What is the meaning of tha' Red Alert?=COM=

[Commander Vorak]

=COM=We are under attack and the Captain had disappeared, casualty reports Doctor=COM= Replied Vorak pressed the com on the chair arm.

[zepplin]

The siren sounded "INTRUDER ALERT---INTRUDER ALERT" and marines tackled borders all over the ship.

Zepplin noticed that Litchfield was still stunned.

"Engaging Tractor beam!" he reported over the high levels of sound disrupting.

The Tractor beam locks onto the scanning vessel.

"The sheering force of the tractor beam is destroying the..." the ship explodes in the tractor beam.

"Commander..." he adds as he is shocked by the vessels destruction.

"Almost 20 people were on that ship; including the Captain." he points out grimly.

[Beathan MacAinmire]

=COM=Gi'me a minut or tu on that report sir! I be just geting them now.=COM= "Lac! Start helping thes patients in!"

[Commander Vorak]

Vorak looked down solemnly for a moment as the bridge was in silence.
"Bring us around and fire at the remaining ships, disable do not destroy."
Vorak sat in the chair, feeling a somewhat human unease, mabey he had been around them to long.
"You heard me" he said as he saw the crew moving slowly.

[Louis de-Point du lac]

Louis nods and helps the people, he was happy for the Doctors advice and had used nearly all of it on his patients so far. He only wished there were not so much blood spilled during this quest.
"You get the report sir, ill handle these. Nurse Scalpel!"

[Beathan MacAinmire]

"Oh bloody hell! Um..one...two...three...Bloody hell would ya stop moving! Dear loard! I dona have time!" =COM=Commandar that report is gona have ta wait!=COM= " Bring that man here The only places left ar my desck and the morge! and we aint puting nobody there!" He said leading some officers holding a third officer in ther arms. "What hapend?"

[Louis de-Point du lac]

"Plasma rupture" he coughed as Louis helped lay him on the bed.
"Hes critical!" Called Louis to MacAinmire.

[Beathan MacAinmire]

"I noticed laddy! I need 20ccs of Hyronalin!" He shouted, thrusting his arm out ready to recive the hypospray. He looed down at the officer. "You'll be jast fine boy'o"

[zepplin]

"Yes sir... locking onto enemy target... firing torpedos." a spread of torpedoes fired and hit one of the enemy vessels, sending them flying back throw space, clearly disabled."

The ship rocks.

"Commander, ships inventory reports all the torpedoes have been taken, we're completely out after that last volley." he noted.

[Commander Vorak]

Vorak paced the bridge as he saw weapons fire back and forth.
Seeing a phaser beam go right threw an enemy ships they decided to retreat. They were outmatched for now, but they had shown they were not completely devoid of technology.
"Call a staff briefing" he said to Marshall.



Vorak looked at the senior staff sat around the table. He had only a few moments ago made the announcement of the Captains death and It had been a somewhat solemn pill for them to swallow. Joining them was Juliet Snow for reasons of necessity as he would explain.
"That is how it is, we must assume the Captains death and proceed with the mission as planned and get the crew home. Suggestions?"

[zepplin]

"I suggest that we go back to the planet, we have no other means to escape as there are no suns large enough to enduce 'TimeWarp' as the Enterprise crew did a couple of times, we have no choice but to return."

He pressed a button on the table to activate the central pentagonal viewscreen.

"I also reccomend that we try to generate a resinance burst from the main deflector, which should simulate a torpedo, if we hit the right target, of course, we're going to have to use our phasers to lower the shields of all the ships first, then if we can get them in close formation, perhaps with the use of the fighters and the tractor beams, we can eliminate all of the ships in one burst."

[Commander Vorak]

He nods "Ms Snow will be acting head of science during my field promotion. Any other reports?"

[Lt Matina Jade]

"The borders were evaded thanks to my teams and the Marines lead by Ms Rogers. They were not hard, no phasers to speak of practically made them sitting ducks. I think we should re modulate our shields during the net encounter, that should stop them from taking anyone else or getting anyone else in."
