Episode XVI: Future's End (Part II)

Captain's Log Stardate 06.07.3543
In a collision with a Temporal Anomaly, while patrolling the Valen/Federation border, the USS Endeavour was plunged into the 36th century, where the Federation has since fallen and the galaxy lies in a state of anarchy. However, what we could discern to be the remnants of the Federation, an advanced faction called the Sanctuary Coalition has given us hints of a way back home. The Guardian of Forever, as it were seems to be our only way back to our timeframe. We are currently on route...

"Report," says Kynes on the Bridge.

[Daniel Clark]

"All Primary sytyms currently on-line and Ready sir" Daniel reported from his console

[Commander Vorak]

"Captain, I have scanned the area and Am picking up several Impulse signatures" Vorak reports spinning his chair toward the command chair "recommend we go to yellow alert and proceed with caution."

[Captain Alexander Kynes]

"Acknowledged," said Kynes.
"Standby for yellow alert. Sal was quite clear on the agressive nature of these raiders. Lieutenant Zeppelin, keep an eye out and focus on scanners. We won't take it lying down this time."

[zepplin]

"Aye sir, scanning sector." he replied as the sensors began an intensive scan of the area.

"Captain, A Class M planet is ahead, this world appears to be inhabited by various humanoid species, all of which don't register fully on the ships systems, however there are certainly trace elements of Romulan and Breen down there, as well as a few orbital defence systems. This may very well be the planet we are searching for." he reports, before realising something else.

"Sir, a fleet of closing into attack, reccomend battle stations." he said aloud, anticipating the order, without acting on his anticipations, by preparing to notify the crew of battles stations.

[Captain Alexander Kynes]

"Can you verify that, Lieutenant?" Kynes asked.

They were in the wilderness of space, and it would be unwise not to treat every decision with the utmost caution.

[zepplin]

"Yes sir, range 50 kilometers a stern Captain, they are locking weapons." he claims

[Commander Vorak]

"Confirmed Plasma weapons Captain. Tactical raise shields and go to red alert" he said typing in his commands into the science station "tactical charge weapons."

[Captain Alexander Kynes]

"USS Endeavuor, this is your Captain speaking. Red Alert, Battle Stations. This is not a drill. I repeat, this is not a drill."
Kynes looked to Zepplin.
"Are they responding to hails?" Kynes asked, wishing to evade a battle.

[Flt Lt Greg "HITMAN" Campbell]

" Sir, with al due respect, I feel that we need to take this opportuni surpirse to attack now while they think that we are trying to find a diplomatic route and attack seems the best option "

[Captain Alexander Kynes]

"No Wing Commander... That's not the Federation way."
"Sir, the Barbarians are charging weapons..."
Kynes nodded.
"Wing Commander Campbell, deploy your flight squadron. Divert their fire, and disable any boarding craft!"

[Flt Lt Greg "HITMAN" Campbell]

" aye sir already scrambled, on my way to join them "

Right Gentlemen Th orders are to take out any ship that seems as though it is intenet on invasion, basicallyshoot anything that doesnt bear Federation symbols unless told otherwise, SCRAMBLE ALL SHIPS!!

As Campbell leaves the hanger his squadron has assembled in front of the ship an awaiting any enemy ships

"Good luck, Campbell," says Kynes as Campbell heads down to the hangar.

IC as Raiders

Sectmaster Itverian orders 3 Wings of Toan'Navians (Multipurpose Interceptors) to combat Campbell's Flight Squadron. The Toan'Navians are weak but fast for impulse. They are not nearly as strong as the Federation fighters however. Their advantage is in their vastly superior numbers.

"Tear that Targ fodder to pieces!" bellows Sectmaster Itverian.
