Still shocked by the loss of the captain Rudger says "Sir I sugjest you let me handle our next appoarch. I have something in mind witch should give us a chance, I intend to use the ship as bait, draw then out to the rim of the system and then head at the Warp 9 back in system and drop out of warp just over the planet, it should give us a few minutes of free time before we even have to engage them"

"The borders were evaded thanks to my teams and the Marines lead by Ms Rogers. They were not hard, no phasers to speak of practically made them sitting ducks. I think we should re modulate our shields during the net encounter, that should stop them from taking anyone else or getting anyone else in." "I believe that to be a wise pre-caution also sir, but that was not the reason for the disruption of out shields, a partical weapon that I have never seen before, most likely that it has not been invented in our century yet, simply nulled the effectiveness of the shields in the locations it was scanning. Our best defence is a good offence, we gotta knock em down before they can get close enough, if you think you can handle that Mr. McVanlen." he noted.

Darkness. Kynes woke up from a most dreadful sleep, and tried to gain his bearings. The sickness of primitive transporter use still vivid in his system, the only sound he could hear was the rhythm of his own disoriented breathing and the numbing hum of an engine. Kynes moved around to see how big the room was, but stopped quite soon, realizing the cell was not more then a few feet wide... He was alone in the darkness, and wondered where the Endeavour was, or where he was, to put it simply...

"Well then Mr Clark get all power back online, Mr Mcvanlen resume course and speed. Both you and Mr Zepplin prepare to implement your plans. Dismissed." Vorak sat now alone amongst the observation lounge, quietly inside morning for his friend.
Moments later he stepped onto the bridge. "Report."

"Prisoner! On your feet!" boomed a man, as the cell flooded with light. "Who are you?" Kynes said, getting up as two guards approached. "Silence!" the man yelled, as one of the guards punched him in the jaw. In the gradient darkness of the cell, the figures were only silhouettes to Kynes. "You will tell us all we need to know. You're coming with us," he said, beckoning the guards to drag Kynes along with them...

Moments later he stepped onto the bridge. "Report." "Commander, all systems are operational once more, we still are missing all torpedoes, but the deflector is ready to blast those scum buckets once their shields are down." he added, just to clarify what had to be done.

"Good work, Mr Mcvanlen prepare to execute your plan as soon as we enter the system" he orders sitting in the commander chair. He had excepted his duty now, and that was to get the crew home.

"We are almost within their scanning range Commander, we should execute the jump shortly." Zepplin noticed something.
"Sir, their sensors must be better than we thought, they are breaking up into two smaller groups, here and here." he points out, putting the information on screen.
On screen was the Endeavour at the edge of the sector, the planet up ahead, and the large group of ships splitting up into two smaller groups, one moving further to the Endeavours port side, the other staying close to the planet.
"We'll have to pick one, I didn't plan on having two bursts Commander, we might not have enough time to charge up the second one, once the initial burst has sub-sided." he said.

"Where are you from?" "We're trying to get home. We don't mean you harm." "Where are you from?!?" said the man, apparently a Neo Sapien of some sort. "Earth." "Do you want to die?" "No." "Then tell the truth, you pathetic bastard." "I'm telling the truth." Kynes was punched. Hard. "No one can live unto the Thaleron disease," said the barbarian. Punched again. "I'm telling the truth..." Punched again. And again. And again. "Stop this!" came a demanding, deep voice. "He is in league with the demons, sire." "Do you defy my command?" "No, never master..." "Let the man go!" "Yes, Sire..." The man who had saved Kynes comes through. Compared to the others he had seen onboard this ship, he was clad in elaborate dress, fit for a king of this age." "Come with me," the king said. "We have matters to discuss."

"Channel Open... no response." said Zepplin in the comm officers absense.
"Commander, its a matter of time not energy, we could give 1% or 101% to the deflector, it will take the same amount of time to recharge, this warp jump will have to work." he claimed honestly, yet in a concerned voice.

"Indeed." "Sir" said Marshall "They are hailing us." "On screen." "Endeavour" Spoke an audio only voice, he knew from that they knew a lot already "we have your Captain, stop and prepare to be boarded." Vorak was taken aback by the statement for a moment before speaking again. "What is it you want?" Vorak asked. "Your ship, it will give us the ultimate weapons to use against our enemies, we will take the galaxy! We know you are from the past. Your Captain informed us of it all. And now we will take your ship." "Close Channel" he ordered and looked around "opinions?"

The king came back into the dining hall Kynes had been escorted to. "Kynes.." said the king. "It appears your ship has gone through the gate we've been trying to activate. They're gone. "Why? Why would they leave me?" Kynes demanded. "They must have thought... you were dead," said the king with a shrug. Kynes was wordless. "I am Sectmaster Itverian," said the king, giving a suspended bow. "What is to become of me then?" Kynes asked. Itverian smiled. "You appear to be a bright man," said the aged Itverian. "We could use your knowledge of ancient times." "For destruction..." Kynes muttered. Itverian shook his head.
"Kynes..." Itverian began. "I know you must think of me as naught but a pirate, but I am of noble intention. I want peace, but to acheive peace, violence must be employed. I have heard of the wonderous times of old. Progress moved forward, and the galaxy was ruled by several large sects. Nowadays, it's hard to keep track. I have seen countless factions rise and fall. Men's hearts are fickle, and fortune favours no one. I have imagined a galaxy that my children will rule with justice and harmony. However, I see a dark road ahead. A road that might be brightened if you would just help me, Kynes. I have heard stories of the Federation, before it had become posessed by greed. The Federation you lived in, Kynes. Will you please help me restore that harmony, Kynes?"
Kynes said nothing.
