Nei'er Relm Specimen Examination

[Captain Alexander Kynes]

Kynes was checking out the progress in the Science Lab, on the cataloging of the species they found in the Nei'er Relm away mission.
"How's the work coming along?" he asked Lt. Zepplin and Commander Vorak.

[Commander Vorak]

"Slowley Captain but I have discovered that these Aliens were last seen in a battle with the Romulans."

[Captain Alexander Kynes]

"How much information do we have on their species?" asked Kynes.

[Commander Vorak]

"Not much the romulans engaged in a few skirmishes with them but that is all."

[Captain Alexander Kynes]

"I shall inform Starfleet Command of this. This may be a new advanced civilization we've discovered. And a possible ally against the Romulans..."

[Commander Vorak]

"yes sir, we will contiue working."

[Captain Alexander Kynes]

Kynes nodded.
"As you were, Commander. Keep up the good work!" he said as he stolled out of the Science Lab, to go back to the Bridge.

[Yeoman Lyana Sh'aal]

"Commander, I've begun to work on documenting the insectoid creatures we retrieved on Nei'er Relm. I just read that there was a time of beetle that lived in the swamps that had a life span of 3 hours. They are born asexually, and ready to reproduce a new batch of babies."

[Commander Vorak]

He took the report "Well done Yeoman. Incert this in our database."

[Kosh Naranek]

Glideing in Kosh looks around. "Most interesting, would either of you care to inlighten me as to what you are doing here?" he asks.

[Commander Vorak]

"Researching those you call the drengin" he replied.

[Kosh Naranek]

"Interesting... The Tau have done much reserch on them, i myself lived with them for 50 years. A strange and misunderstood people... I am interested to see your findings" Kosh says.

[Commander Vorak]

"Indeed" he says pulling out a data pad and showing him "as is said in my report we encountered them on an uncharted planet, a crashed ship living among natives. This is the first chance we have had to see them in full action. Not very much tecnology to speak of and smaller brains than most humanoids who space travel. I would surmerise that the ones higher in rank are more likely to be more intelligent."

[Kosh Naranek]

"Hmmm, yes each of their castes have evolved slightly differint. So you are this ships chief scientist? I have been wondering, why dos this craft have races mixed in such close quarters? The Tau have never understood other races being able to live togather and share secrets of their peoples, hence why i am here, to see if Tau can interact with other races then the Drengin. I am the first Tau to ever live amongst any race other then our own." he says.

[Commander Vorak]

"Then this is what we call "First Contact" for you. The Federation is made up of over a 100 words spread across many light years. Earth was a founding member and many humans join the starfleet as the academy is located there. We have put aside all preconceptions, greed, poverty, war and have a deep respect for all life. I myself am Vulcan. Another founding world. We explore the galaxy and try to give aid to those who need it, find new words and expand our Federation further. Althought some races like the Romulans wish to avenge old wars long past."
