Episode XVIII: Fatal Contact

Moments later crewman Yuri who had been part of Vorak's science team on the mission to the moon stumbled into sickbay.
"Doctor, I feel very light headed" he said looking very pale, his veins had begun to turn black and his eyes also. He fell to the floor and was dead.

[Lt Matina Jade]

Seemingly at the same time Jade walked from the bridge feeling also very light.
She looked at her hands, black veins?
Her blood felt like it was pumping through her skin.
She needed to get to sickbay fast.

[Commander Vorak]

Vorak watched Jade leave and felt a crawling almost in his skin. He held his head for a moment and sat in the command chair with a groan.
"Are you alright sir?" asked Yeoman next to him with a PADD.
"Fine, Yeoman" he replied straitening up "thank you."
He took the PADD and handed it back after signing.

Doctor ta Vorak! One o' your science officer just walked in and died! The panic and fear could be hear in his voice, witch inturn cause sevral memburs of the bridge to become panic striken. wispers of a dead officer. The odd thing be that he dina die in annyway we know. The only visible simtome be black vains, and I dana know how long afta they aper the victum be dead. Oh dear Go'!" Beathan closed the comm after Jade enterd sickbay. Her vains whear also black, but they where only in the arms not the fullbody like Yuri, still laying on the ground. :-XWhat evar Yuri had Jade be having i' too!

"lay on a bed and dana move. Nurse Dana Tuch Her! We Dana Now How, Or Why They Have this!" He yelled at the young woman.

[Will Litchfield]

Will looked at Vorak.
"Sir, that is not usual behavior for you, i believe you should probably go to sickbay" he said, concerned.
A few of the junior officers on the brdige had also been looking at Vorak with slight concern on their faces.

Daniel turned to watch also concerned

Vorak nodded.
"It would appear it is the landing party who is infected so far, Mr Clark you better come with me. Yeoman summon all the landing party to sickbay and tell them limit contact with other crew members. You have the bridge. And please inform the Captain, I have not heard from him for some hours now."
With that he walked from the bridge and to Sickbay gathering with the other landing party looking worried.
"Run a scan on me Doctor" he told the first medical officer he saw "Am I infected?"

Louis sighed with grief and scanned the Vulcan.
"Yes sir, you are in the early stages. As it would appear are the rest of the team. It is only a matter of time before you end up like Mr Yuri" he replied.

[Commander Vorak]

Vorak stepped forward to Beathan thanking Louis.
"Any theory's of why he was at a later stage Doctor?" he asked hoping for some answers.

[Beathan MacAinmire]

"Aye sir. I think it because pur Yuri be a Catian. The laddy never had no chance. They coul' chaugh up a hair ball withou' gettin sick." He said looking at the furry body in the maurgue. "Luky for ya, ye be Vulcan, ya be fine for sevral days. But ye gona have ta stay here so we can Identify why ye be sick. Now if ye dona mind I be needing ta scan miss Jade."

[Commander Vorak]

Vorak nodded also wanting to know why hers was elevated above the other humans there.
"We have not had contact with the Captain for some reason and I have send Mr Lichfield to investigate. He was part of landing party also and was complaining on illness" he almost, very unemotionally, frowned at fearing the worst for his friend.

[Lt Matina Jade]

Jade looked at her and grimaced, now sitting up on the bed.
"Whats wrong with me!" she demanded "Why am I more ill that any one else?"

"Relax Jade, I'll have ye an answer befar ye can fall asleep. Now lay down. This only be taken a second." Beathan said trying to calm the officer down. He pressed on her shoulder so that she would lay down.

The Doctor ran some machines over here body and mu bled to himself. He walked away to ward console. Then returned to her side. He walked to ward Vorak.

"Sit with her. It may take longar than I thot." He said then walked away. Disappearing behind some medical equipment.

Vorak nodded and sat beside Jade also wishing to know why this accrued. I thought then came to him and he rose from the seat.
"I will be back" he told her and walked toward the Doctor.
"Doctor if she was exposed to this before and was cured would that explain this?" He asked.
