Episode XVIII: Fatal Contact

[Commander Vorak]

Vorak sits in the command chair, being handed reports and handing them back to the yeoman.

First Officers Log:We are arriving at the edge of known federation space, we are now about to truly seak out new worlds.



"Maintain course" he orders "Scans of sector please."

[Daniel Clark]

"Sensors are on-line Commander" Daniel reported from his station

[Will Litchfield]

"Tactical standing by sir" Will said, standing by his console.

[Lisa Rogers]

" Marine units reports ready" Lisa said

[Lt Matina Jade]

Jade stood at the back of the bridge watching the clouds and stars of known space pass the screen. She walked over to the security console and checked things before looking at screen again. Although she knew it was impossible she knew she had been here before. She had passed those same stars, seen those same scans.
"Command I...never mind."
She saw him turn and then was urged to speak.
"I feel I have been here before."

[Commander Vorak]

He spun his chair and spoke, he noted something seemed to be bothering the young girl but had chosen no to speak of it.
"That is unlikely Lieutenant, this is uncharted space. When and how do you recall this?"

[Lt Matina Jade]

"I am not sure sir, but am overwhealed with the fear of danger. Attack. Almost as though this is where my farther's ship was attacked by the klingons why serving on Torrent."

[Commander Vorak]

"Lieutenant, the Torrent was destroyed outside the old Klingon neutral zone" he replied checking and handing another log to the yeoman on duty.

[Lt Matina Jade]

"I know that sir, but I feel I have been in battle here before sir. A Long time ago and I lost someone here. I assumed...I am sorry sir. This is not the point of our mission" she replied and looked down.

[Commander Vorak]

"Our mission is to see what is beyond Lieutenant Jade. If you think you have..."
"Commander, a planet on sensors directly ahead."
"We will continue this later" he replied and span the command chair forward.
-COM- Vorak to Kynes, there is a planet ahead. Your presense is requested on the bridge-COM-

[Lt Matina Jade]

She nodded to him and took her, somthing wasn't right and she knew it. She began preping secuirty defenses just incase.

[Will Litchfield]

Will looked worried at Jades concern, he had come to trust her judgement, he moved to the tactical console and checked that nothing looked unstable.

[Beathan MacAinmire]

Beathan was resting on one of the biobeds, looking at the metalic grey seeling. He was relaxing, when he sudenly hade a sence of Deja Vu. But It coulden't be. He knew that they wear headed for uncharted space. But he had to confirm it.

Beathan to Bridge. could you pleas confirm our cousre?

-COM- East into unknown space Doctor, why do you ask -COM- Vorak replies awaiting the Captain.

When the doctor contacts the bridge then something has to be wrong.
