Episode XVIII: Fatal Contact

[Beathan MacAinmire]

The doctor was half walking half jogging down the hall to the transporter room, only several meters away. Unentierly aware of the need for his preseasons, however he learned never to question a Vulcan. They always seemed to know something he did not.

He entered and saw Commander Vorak, Jade and the Captain. It appeared that Jade had just arrived. It seemed that this was the full compliment of the away party.

OOC: I am attempting to return to bulk posting. I hope this is a good start.

[Captain Alexander Kynes]

The Endeavour drifted into a massive docking port. Stepping onto the transporter pad, Kynes, Jade and Vorak shimmered into a dark audience chamber. Rows of seats lined the rim of the chamber, filled with various Derrien, each grunting and groaning it's own muttered viewpoints on this new 'Federation' they had encountered.
"We are delegates of the United Federation of Planets," says Kynes.
"To whom might I thank for this welcome?"

On the bridge will was looking at something on his console, he then realised that the Captain and Commander had left, and Rudger was in charge of the bridge.
'I wonder what surprises this lifeform turns up' he thought to himself, last time they had found a new major lifeform, they had become enemys.

[Commander Vorak]

Vorak watched the captain speak and returned his gaze to the chambers audience. At the center, directly in front of of them a spotlight came on and shone over a center monument, behind which three robed Derrien without the goggles, one standing to the center to what appeared to be a microphone that echoed through the hall.
"Kynes of the Federation, I am First Minister Shani of the Sovereign Council. You may present us with what you bring."

[Lt Matina Jade]

She watched the proceedings and decided to resist the impulse she was feeling. She knew she had seen this race before, but where? Her farther had been killed by Klingon's she was sure of that. She turned to see this First Minister, she was sure she had seen him to.
In a moment she was viewing something, but what? A flashback?
She saw his face on the view screen, she was on her fathers old ship. She was young, teenage.
Captain Telic spoke "We will protect you" he spoke.
"We will have you on our world after I am sure" he replied.

Moments later she was back the present feeling a little off. She almost stumbled and held her head before straightening up.

Thew doctor turned tot the femalre officer that stood beside him. both behind the Captain and Vorak.

"Are ye alright Jade?" He wisperd in her ear.

[Lt Matina Jade]

"I..fine" she said straighting up "I just felt a little dizzy thats all."

[Beathan MacAinmire]

"Are ye sure ma'am? Maybe ya should sit down? A glass o' water?" He said, only wishing that she doesn't faint and create another problem. He was nervous looking at the Sovereign Council.

[Commander Vorak]

Vorak looks back at them and raised an eyebrow as the Captain continued to speak with them. He decided to step in.
"First Minister, we offer trading agreements and free passage in federation space."
"We see. Return to your ship we will discuss this"
Kynes nodded and walked with them giving orders for the others to return to the ship.
Vorak to Endeavour, 4 to beam back

[Lt Matina Jade]

As soon as they were back onboard she turned to Vorak.
"Sir, I felt somthing down there. A flashback. I didn't want to say anything infront of the council."

[Commander Vorak]

"A flashback of what exactly. Is the Captain in danger?" he inquired looking at her. She seemed distressed over this.

[Lt Matina Jade]

"I'm not sure sir. I just know what I saw. It was my farthers ship, they were speaking to the First Minister offering aid for somthing before making first contact" she told him.

[Commander Vorak]

"Indeed, this is most strange. Doctor take her to sickbay and see what you can find. We will begin scanning the area for the Torrent."
-COM- Mr Clark, Join me on the bridge please -COM-
With that he made his way out and onto the bridge. Walking over to science and re leaving the ensign there.

[Daniel Clark]

-Com- Aye sir -Com- Daniel said walking out of the room
<Bridge sevearal minutes later>
Daniel walked onto the bridge
"Yes Commander?" He asked

[Beathan MacAinmire]

"Aye sir." Beathan said guiding Jade to sickbay. He held the arm closes to him, as to seport her if she lost balence again.

<Sickbay>

"Now Miss Jade. I'll be puting this cortical inhibitor. It should let ya have them flashback and no' get dizzy. It will alert me when ya get on. I may beablu ta induce the flashback and help yeah ta get them clearer." He said placing a large cold metalic thing on the right side of her neck and one on her forehead, just above the left eye.
