Horner watched this all gritting his teeth, some ancient civilizations robots coming back online and wanting their ship. "How about we kick your metal..." He was swiftly cut of by Lisa's glare. "Sorry mam" he said and piped down.

Louis glanced up at the robots words but then returned his attention to T'Kel whom he and the Doctor had placed on the floor. The Vulcan was beginning to awake, but was evidently physically shaken. "Crewman, we are hostage. Try and remain calm."

OOC: Sorry for my late return, but i am back. XD
IC: Rudger glances around the room, searching for a way out, and further to see Jade. He grimaces at both how devoid of anything the room is, and at the same time how he has been since his return to the ship. Wishing he hadin't been bogged down in work and had a chance to talk to Jade. But turning back to the problem at hand he contenues to mentaly catalog everything in the home, hopeing something might be helpful.

Jade looked over and noticed Rudgers glance. She blushed and looked down. She looked at everyone else as she did so. The medical two were concentrated on the young Vulcan who had awoken. The others seemed unnerved by what was happening and the Commander- She could see his inner workings ticking away- he was in deep though. She then whispered to Lisa and Clark who were nearby. "Any idea how those spider ones shields work?"

Lisa quickly looked over there captors, this was a tricky one for sure.
" I'm not sure but I think there's a power pack on them some where" Lisa suggested

Nothing no reply to his demands, the robot became stern. "Demand: You!" He pointed to the young crew women behind Jade "Instruction: Stand." It aimed its weapon as she walked forward, so innocent and so afraid. Alert: I have one of your crewmen Endeavour, if I were you I would respond

Lisa loked for anything to be used as an vantage point. Thing were turning dangerous quickly.
" Jade if you have a plan, then you better explain fast becuase i have a bad feeling here" Lisa whispered as she reviewed her men: they were getting restless and she knew it.

Louis was startled, why wasn't the Captains answering? This young girls life was in danger. He wanted to plead with the robot but knew that no heart of any kind lay under that shell. In that way he was indeed superior and yet inferior.

Kynes was frozen for a second. He tried to think, but the stress was getting to him. He never got used to this sort of urgency. "Endeavour here... I'm sure we can discuss a means of helping you, without stressing the usage of violence... Are you willing to explain your situation to us, so that we might help you?"

Flexing his hands Rudger begins to recall an old class he took about metal and how much power it took to bend or brake it. He knew a man didin't stand a chance, but he hoped he could find a way to someho cause the robots to fail. and then it came to him... the mining droids eyes were red, they also were mining units, not reserch or combat, logicly they would only be able to target with sight. and if their eyes were red, that could mean they used thermal sight. many races liked to use thermal vision for robotics. if they could increase the heat... then mayby just maybey it would allow them to make a run for it. the only other option would be a large EMP wave. He begins to think of a few plans that might work, it wasin't his field, but he knew a few things about EMPs and heat.

The Robot spoke again in reply "Explanation: Our situation is we have been dormant here awaiting transport. We wish to automate your ship and rid this sector of the meat bag infestation. If you give us your vessel we will give the lives of your crew in return...for now."
Meanwhile Vorak had been scanning the room and its occupants in silence. Using his tricorder by his side without needing to look thanks to the layout he had become used to. In the last ten moments he had begun sending a piggyback signal in Morse code to the Endeavour, through the same channel so as not to be detected by the secuirty system.
It read: "Vorak to Endeavour. The only combat ready and sentient one is leader. Others automated, hub system controlled. Leader must have programed to target humanoids."

The Comm officer beckoned Kynes to come over to his console. He read the message briefly, then nodded, and relayed a message back. <Endeavour to Vorak: Understood. Get as close as you can to the leader mech, and try to see what it's main power source is.>

Demand: Answer me Captain! Or She dies! Vorak moved forward as ordered and scanned the leader with his tricorder. < Has shields, power source in head modual....> Vorak was interrupted as the leader grabbed the tricorder from his side. "Amusement: A piggyback signal, scans of my structure. Well hidden but not well enough. Angered Threat: You will pay for your treachery!" The robot turned and fired. The green beam came from the shaft and hit the young girl in the head, she had barley time to scream. Death was instant. Threat: Do that again Endeavour and another will die Vorak held his head low in a somewhat guilty- had he not been Vulcan- state for his actions causing her death. "That was not necessary" he calmly spoke.

"Necessary!" Jade cried out "a young girl is dead and that is all you can say! Of course you don't care for human life do you! You pointed eared green blooded bastard!" Jade launched for Vorak but was held back, in a rage she turned to the robot. "And you! I will make you scrap for that!"
