Vorak walked into the mess hall and ordered his usual green Vulcan tea. Things had been quiet for the last week, to quiet. But the peace seemed good for crew moral after weeks of no contact with starfleet and ever more crew losses and dangerous assignments. He sat at a table and began reading.

Daniel sat at his station on the Bridge and began to read a book on a Padd as nothing much was happening

Lisa at in her office working though the paperwork as her mind began to wander: What if Starfleet wasn't the life that it was made up to be? What if there was more to space travel than what starfleet did? Some of her Marines had request to leave starfleet altogether. Granted When a person signed up to starfleet it was common knowledge that it was a dangerous job and you did the job at there own risk but how could she keep subjecting her Marines to more pain as the Endeavour coniuted it jounery into the unknown..

Captain Alexander Kynes walked into the Mess Hall, and saw Commander Vorak sitting at a table, reading some reports. He smiled, and walked over to his Vulcan friend. "Mind if I join you?" Kynes asked Vorak. Taking a seat, Kynes spoke. "You should be sleeping, Vorak... I know what happened on the mining planet was quite horrible, god only knows how I've coped... But you have to sleep."

Lyana Sh'aal had taken the night shift once again, Daniel Clark was also on the bridge. She yawned, and gazed into her console.

Was she cursed or something? This was her third nightshift in a row and it was growing very boring. Absently she watched nav to make sure nothing changed, like allways though it stayed the same. Letting her mind wonder fingers began to tap on her consol in a endless pattern of tap tap tap tap.

"If I knew you any better, I'd say you were bored!" Ensign Sh'aal teased Tanius, with a smile.

Naomi snapped back to reality with a slight jump hearing a voice. "After three strait night shifts you'd be bored as well" she teased back. At least this was giving her something to do, even though her mind was wondering on much darker thoughts.

"I do not require sleep for several days, I have many reports to complete" replied Vorak sighing at the Captain "I have been meditating on what happened sir. Mediation is just as good rest."

"Don't make me relieve you, Commander," said Kynes, sternly. "I can't have my first officer skipping his sleep cycles."

Vorak sighed. "Aye Captain" he said and stood "I will be in my quarters." he left data PADD still in hand through the arched blue door.

"At this rate it won't be long before I have that" Naomi joked back hearing Daniel add his own comment. Why did everything happen during the day instead of the night which she seemed to be stuck with?
