Captain Kynes called to the local transporter officer in Ops. "Grab a lock onto Vanlen's life signature, and wait for his okay to engage the transporter beam."
Kynes felt worried for his new friend. He was glad to have a man of such selflessness on his ship. As soon as he saw the Endeavour leaving dock, Kynes began to second guess himself... He suddenly wished that he had not given Vanlen the affirmative to leave. As time flew by, and the climax grew closer, Alexander realized that his anxiety and regret would not bring Vanlen's task closer to sucess... In fact, it could prove detrimental to it all! So Kynes did what he usually did in most hostile situations, he swallowed the present fear and shoved it away from his concious mind.
Kynes anxiously anticipated the outcome of Vanlens mission...

"Cheif engineer, we are now done offloading crew, its just you, me, and the 4 engineers with you, and commander Vorak. We are now exiting transporter range, wait one... and we are clear. The blast wont hurt the station. Im heading to the shuttle bay, if it hits 1 minite we should leave the ship... i will stay in the bay till 10 secends to melt down, then i have to punch it. Sir, if we don't make it... it was a honor serveing with you all." A moments silence then i whispered "Godspeed". The channel was open so anyone could have heard. I ran through the ship to the computers mono-tone warrings "FIVE MINITES TILL WARP CORE BREACH. FOUR MINITES, 50 SECENDS TILL WARP CORE BREACH." i carened down the hall towards the shuttle bay...

OOC: now i forget, isint the warp core pretty much the only thing powering the ship?? so if we ejected it, do we still have shields?

Kynes watched the USS Endeavour from the viewscreen. The ejected Warp Core was now only a small blip on the screen, but it was attracting the attention of everyone in Ops. As the Endeavour rushed at full Impulse back to base, the Warp Core's lifeforce expired, and it exploded into a large wave of plasma fire. The shockwave began to push the Consitution class starship, sending it spiralling out of control.
"This is Captain Kynes to USS Endeavour," said Alexander. "Are you alright?"

"Permission granted, Commander," said Kynes as cheers broke out in Ops. "Good to see you back in one piece, Commander," congratulated Alexander.

"Good work, all of you," said the Captain, walking out of Ops, to get a well-needed drink.

I redocked the ship and Got up, leaveing the bridge i walked back onto the station, and was met with a a few cheers. I had forgoten to turn the com to a secure channel so everyone on the station heard that i was the one who insisted on moveing the ship away at my own risk. I entered the cantina and sat down to think about what had just happend...

Kynes was getting a drink, recovering from the emergency. Thinking of it, he saw the hero of the day, Mr. Rudger Vanlen drinking not too far from him. "Hey there," said Kynes. "Congratulations on your feat of piloting." As the words came out of his mouth, a stocky hooded Klingon accompanied by several bodyguards strode into the Catina. "The Ambassador..." muttered Kynes, watching him.

Daniel walked around engineering for a while before going to find how to get a new warp core He walked to the stations Operations and talked to the chief of operations who said a new warp core was already on the station and they were beaming it to it's position, with that Daniel walked to the meshall/Cantina

In the Corner the hooded man picked up his head watching the Ambassador enter the room and the federation representative walking up to his and shaking his hand. "Ambassador welcome aboard." As they spoke the cowled man made his way from his table and out of the cantina.
