Episode II: The Ambassador

[Lt Matina Jade]

Jade made her way over to captain acknowledging the Ambassador.
"2 guards are outside, and the rest are in place sir" she reported.

[Rudger McVanlen]

I exused myself and left for my quarters, halfway there i was about to walk around a corner when i overheard "...nd we are in postion to launch phase 4 of our plane, the warp core didint get them, and the nav computers only attracted that idiot nav officer" it was a klingons voice. i pulled out my phaser and my comunicater and quitely said "Lt Jade, 6 intrudes, deck 19 just below officers quarters, i need backup SHIT ahhhh zap" the comunicator gos dead...

I exchange fire with them, takeing 2 shots i throw myself around the next corner and hold it as best i can, but im bleeding and their aim is good, i grimly hold my postion...

Meanwhile, Captain Kynes silently watched the actions of the ambassador. He wanted to see what kind of representative the Klingons had sent to the Federation.
He turned to Matina Jade.
"Good, and keep some intelligence on the promonade, to spy out any suspicious characters."
As Lt. Jade left, Kynes opened his communicator.
"Lieutenant Clark, have you checked the Endeavour's Engineering logs? Are there any signs of tampering?"

Jade ran out as soon as she got the message from the young navigator.
She made her way quickly into the turbolift. A crewman beside her began to speak his required deck.
"Move! Security buisness" she had everyone leave the elevator before commanding the last known location of Rudger. She mouthed the barley audiable words of "Come on" repeatedly until the doors opened and she ran down the corridor. She heard and then saw phaser fire, taking hers out and firing taking out a Klingon. She knelt down next to the injured Mcvanlen and took out her communicator.
"Where the hell are you?" she asked her second in commmand of secuirty.
"On the way mam" came the reply.

I manage to hit one in the head...he never had a chance to scream. I turn to Lt jade and say "Ma'am, sorry, i wasint able to hold them all, 6 got away, besides the 6 here, im glad you showed, im hurt pretty bad" i grunt and turn... she lets out a hiss as she sees my left arm is badly burned, and my shulder aswell...

[Lt Matina Jade]

"Mr McAnimie to the loading dock" she said into her communicator.
"Stay here i'm going after them" she said and ran off down the corridor.
"Jade to Captain, there has been a fire fight, Mcvanlen has been injured and some have escaped we are in pursuit."

[Rudger McVanlen]

I slumped back against the wall and groaned...the world slowly started fadeing to black... i passed out...

[Captain Alexander Kynes]

"Acknowledged," rushed Captain Kynes, bounding out of the Catina and into the nearby Turbolift. He took the lift to deck 19, and as soon as it met it's destination, Kynes dashed out of the turbolift's confines, and headed towards Vanlen's last known location, which wasn't a far ways away.

Alexander knew he was near, from the echoes of phaser fire. He saw Vanlen lying against the wall; eyes closed and immobile. Jade and a few of her Security crewmen were blasting away at a group of hooded Klingons. Distruptor bolts blazing all around him, Kynes took cover behind a pair of titanium crates. He took Vanlen's phaser and unloaded a few shots, to suppress the opposition. As soon as the Klingons were given a chance to retaliate, Distruptor fire commenced again, grazing a nearby officer's shoulder. Keeling over, the man winced in pain, and cradled the wound.

Several rounds were fought between the Federation Security and the unknown Klingons until Federation reinforcements arrived; Starbase Sentries.
"Set your Phaser rifles on Stun!" Kynes shouted his instructions over the booming noises of the gunfire. The sentries loaded the energy cells into their rifles, aimed at the Klingons and fired. Two of the 5 Klingons were hit, falling down; distruptors falling out of their hands. Seeing the ill fate of his comrades, the third Klingon fled down the hall, only to be hit by the phasers of the new sentries on the other end of the hall.
"Cease fire!" bellowed Kynes. He didn't want the Security to hit their allies in the crossfire.
"You are surrounded!" yelled the Captain to the Klingon hostiles. Even the aggressive beings saw the futility of continuing their fight. Grunting, the head Klingon spoke.
"We... surrender."
"Ms. Jade, take these hostiles into custody," he said.
Turning to the sentries, he nodded in approval.
"Apprehend the ones that escaped. I reckon they're still somewhere on the Starbase."
Kynes watched as the commotion dissipated, and the Klingons were escorted to the Starbase brig.

[Lt Matina Jade]

"Sir a recommend fulls security lock down" she said "They can't be allowed to escape, I will begin the search" she said and headed off down the corridor.

[Commander Vorak]

Vorak walked toward the Captain after surveying the aftermath.
"Captain may I speak to you a moment" he said.

[Beathan MacAinmire]

"McVanlen? McVanlen? Waiky, waiky!" MacAinmire's voice could be heard as Rudger slowly regained cosiusness. As Beathan taped his patients cheak, to help him awaiken, the doctore continued to talk. "You been shot, an' brot h're, ta sickbay. Yu'll be perfectly fine."

[Rudger McVanlen]

I groan and say "The intruders... did they.... are they... ugggg. Are they dead or captured?" i ask...

[Beathan MacAinmire]

"Um, I'm not sure lad. but I'm sure the security officer will get them." Beathan said going to a companel

'Enginnering to Captain Kynes' Said Daniel 'We have comformation the warp core was sabotaged, running scans, klingon DNA detected, checking confirmend' let me just check the internal sensors'
Daniel turned around and saw 3 Armed Klingons pointing there disrupters at him
'ah' He said
Daniel carefully left the comm line open to the captain
'Put your hands in the air' said the leader
