Episode II: The Ambassador

[Commander Vorak]

*A few moments earlier*
"Captain I am concerned about an insider to all of these events, only a starfleet crewman could have let them onboard the Endeavor. And I was checking into the history of our crew when I came across a very interesting past for Ms Jade. It appears as thow her father was killed by Klingons. I recomend she be taken of this case at once."
It was then Clarks message came threw.

[Lt Matina Jade]

Jade walked over to a near bye consol wall and pressed the com link open.
"Not as of yet, they appear to have left the station. Someone must be helping them."

[Captain Alexander Kynes]

Kynes was shocked to hear Vorak's proposition.
"Mr. Vorak, these are very serious allegations. I will take no action until you have solid proof she is helping the Klingons. Meanwhile, I will contact the Starbase Intelligence, to keep an eye on her."
Vorak nodded and headed off for a console to check the results of initial interrogations of the Klingon intruders. Kynes walked a short way to Admiral Dawson's office, to speak with him on the matter of Commander Vorak's suspicion.

"Sir, my First Officer was reason to believe that our Chief Security Officer, a new transfer onto the USS Endeavour named Lieutenant Matina Jade may be involved with the recent sabotage of Federation equipment, including the possible threat on the Klingon Ambassador's life. After looking into her past, Vorak discovered a long history of animosity towards the Klingon species. He thinks that it may be possible she would not support the peace treaty, and wish the war to endure."

Dawson raised an eyebrow of concern.
"What are you beliefs on this matter, Captain Kynes?" Admiral Dawson inquired. Kynes paused for a moment, and thought over all of the facts.
"Well, I'll admit there is a shred of plausibility to Mr. Vorak's allegations. However, as far as what I can see, she has been faithful to our mission of protecting the ambassador thus far. Why, just a few hours ago, Ms. Jade's instruction led to the capture of several Klingon outlaws, highly suspected of being involved in the recent acts of sabotage. However, I do believe the Klingon outlaws (most likely the Shield of Kah'less) have an insider on the Endeavour. The security on the refit is quite tight, so it is very probable the Shield's operatives had someone to help them rig the Warp Core to blow."
Dawson replied with a deep, serious voice.
"Commander Vorak is a very insightful individual, Captain Kynes. Are you doubting his suspicion?"
Kynes felt he was the one being suspected now.
"No.. No, Admiral. I trust Vorak very much. It's just that I would like more evidence before one of my officers is suspected for high treason. Vorak and I have come to the conclusion that your help would be necessary. We request that you have a few of your intelligence officers follow her, and pick up intel to help reveal the truth of the matter."

"A prudent suggestion, Mr. Kynes," said Dawson.
"I will dispatch a team of Intelligence Operatives to track Lieutenant Jade's actions and determine whether she is valid for further inspection."

"Thank you, sir," said Kynes.

"You are dismissed."

Kynes saluted Admiral Dawson and headed out the door, hoping that one of his finest officers would not be involved in such an ugly matter.

[Commander Vorak]

Vorak had walked only a few meters down the hall when he realized that he could hear the voice of Mr Clark. He turned and saw the Captains communicator on the floor. He flipped it open and spoke.
"Mr Clark, The Captain has some how misplaced his communicator, however unlikely. I will return it to him. Is there a reason for your.."
"Who is this?" came a deep and gruff voice.
"Commander Vorak of the USS Endeavour, may I ask who is speaking also?"
"Non of your business!" Came the voice "I have you engineer and his men hostage in your engine room. You will come here alone and tell no one. Be mindful we are being watched, bring that young security officer with you as well."
"Lt Jade?" he asked.
"Yes her. Be here in ten minuets or we will destroy your ship and everyone on it. I'm sure the star base shall feel the effects of the explosion also."
With that it went dead and Vorak was left alone raising an eyebrow. Vorak knew he had to warn the Captain somehow. He looked down and saw his own communicator. He knew the Captain would come back for his own but undoutably that would be his open com-link to the Captors. He took off his own communicator and placed it in place of the captains. He knew the Captain would realize it was not his. With that he opened the Captains and began walking.
"Lt. Jade this is Vorak. Meet me at docking port 5."

[Lt Matina Jade]

"Understood" she replied and began walking until reaching there.
Once there all was explained.
"Why don't I get my men down here and blow their door down?" she asked.
"Because we are being watched at all time acoarding to them and I don't want to take that chance."
She nodded and followed.

[Commander Vorak]

The Continued walking until they reached the engine room. As they walked Vorak placed his right hand carefully and out of sight on the Captains communicator and beeped his own communicator back on the station with a series of binary code. Morse Code.

[Daniel Clark]

Daniel saw Commander Vorak and LT Jade come through the engineering room door and while the Klingons were occupied he reached under the console he was backed up to and reached for the phaser that was there, just in case.

[Commander Vorak]

"Ah good" said the Klingon "Bout time, our house leader will pay us well for this."
"What do you want?" He asked.
"The Ambassadors head" he replied.
"Even if I was to help you, he is heavily guarded."
As they continued to talk Vorak placed his hand on his communicator and tapped again morso code, this time so only Clark could get it from his communicator.
"C-a-p-t-a-i-n h-a-s b-e-e-n c-o-n-t-a-c-t-e-d, s-t-a-n-d b-y-e."
"guarded by her! You Jade will tell them to go off duty why we will go in and kill him, what do you care. he is a klingon and word has it you dont like us very much."
"Ms.Jade you will do no such thing" said Vorak.
The Klingon picked up Clark "Do it or i kill them all every minuet starting with him."

[Lt Matina Jade]

She looked back at Vorak knowing she had to make a very difficult choice. She filpped open her communicator and began to speak.

[Rudger McVanlen]

I suddenly had a bad feeling in my gut. Reaching over i grabed my comunicator and scaned for channels, i found the morse code and cursed. I then slip out of bed and grab a phasor, i switch into clothes and and sneek out of sickbay. I start sneeking to the engine room...

[Commander Vorak]

Vorak turned abruptly and commanded Jade.
"Ms Jade" he simply said calmly.
"Good girl" said the Klingon "Hold on a moment!"
"We are taking out the guards, how are you doing?"
"Splendid General, but unfortunately I have changed the plan. And our deal."
"What?! You god dam bounty hunter I will slit your throat!"
"Temper, Temper General. I have attached twenty of my explosives to the animater pod directly below you, which as the engineers there will know will set of a chain reaction destroying the ship. Unfortunate but it will leave all the credits to me. The timer has been set, and the docking doors have been sealed of, and the transporter is destroyed from battle. Nice working with you. Oh and one more thing if anyone gets chance do thank Admiral Dawson for his assistance. I couldn't of done this without him. Shame he must die also."

[Rudger McVanlen]

I burst out onto an upper deck of the engineering and aim my phasor at the klingon, but hearing this i curse and start chargeing up to the bridge...

[Commander Vorak]

With the Aid of the young navigator McValen and Clark who appeared to have somehow grabbed a phaser they managed to overcome there captures and their weapons.
"I trust we can work together now, Unless you wish to remain aboard."
The Klingon frowned. "We will go to stovakor!"
"Indeed" he sighed and turned to Jade, "Keep an eye on them Ms.Jade. Mr Clark you come with me."
He turned and began to walk toward the door.
"Mr Mcvalen, you need to get as much space between us and the starbase, Mr Clark and I will attemp to repair the transporters. My Tricorder says we have 9 minuets and 49 seconds."
With that he closed his communicator and beagn walking with Clark.

Meanwhile as the diplomatic confrence got underway the strange hooded bountyhunter was not far behind, executing the last part of his plan to blow the conference room sky high along with the Ambassadors, Diplomats and his former ally Admiral Dawson.

[Rudger McVanlen]

I rushed back to the bridge and started pulling away at full impulse. I then opened com to the station and warned them to evac as the assassens were about to move. Then i rushed over to sensors and started scaning for the bounty hunters ship...

[Daniel Clark]

'Theres's nothing we can do sir the transpoter is shot' Said Daniel
Damm' He said and kicked the panel
He then felt his molicules de-matirilese
'Well that worked' Said Daniel as Commander Vorak , Lt JAde and Lt McVanlen matirilesed beside him
