Episode III: The Valens

[Commander Vorak]

Vorak raised an eyebrow at the message and stopped walking looking at the Captain.

[Captain Alexander Kynes]

"Vanlen!" said Kynes calmly into the communicator.
"Even the Endeavour wouldn't be able to take four of their birds. Take evasive manuevers, and keep your position hidden. We don't want to instigate a war by engaging their starships. Keep out of their sensor range until they leave orbit of the planet... Don't worry about us, we'll be fine."

"Acknowledged," came the response from the Endeavour as it blasted out of the planet's orbit.

The planet's three suns began to sink beneath the horizon, and a few distant cries could be heard. The distinct sound of Valen weaponsfire pierced the stillness of the evening, and Kynes took to the ground, until he deemed it a safe environment. It was a few seconds before the away team began to get up and feel safe about their situation, so they continued walking.

Suddenly, Kynes heard a call from Daniel Clark.
"What is it, Lieutenant?" asked Kynes as Clark pointed to a Federation Phaser on the ground.

[Daniel Clark]

'Captain Perhaps if we fire the phaser into the air the survivors will come and investigate sir' Suggested Daniel

[Captain Alexander Kynes]

"So would the Valens," said Kynes, eyeing Clark.
"We don't want to scare the survivors anyways... They could think we were hostile towards them."

[Daniel Clark]

'Good Point' Said Daniel
Suddenly the air around them tingled as people began to appear from behind the rubble of the buildings surrounding them.
'What the Hell?' said Captain Kynes.
'I'm Captain Jack Of the Federation Starship Amazing' said one of them as 40 people appeared with Phasers pointing at them 'Who are you?'

[Captain Alexander Kynes]

"I am Captain Alexander Kynes of the Starship Endeavour. We came here to rescue you. What happened here?"

"Ensign ... it is advisable that we move towards the backside of the planet. This way the planet is between us and the Valens." Said Bligh a little upset that he was not given command.

[Rudger McVanlen]

"Umm" I didint know what to say, he outranked me, but i was in comand. "Err thank you Mr.Bligh" I move us around the planit. "Umm ready all weapons Mr.Bligh" i was refering to him as i would an ensign who had served longer then me, showing we were basicly of the same power for the moment.


OOC: well im hungery and must go eat, be back on in mabey 4 hours.

"Are you sure that is wise Ensign. The best thing we can do is move us as far away as possible and then shut down all major systems except for Shields and Life Support. Even if we choose not to do that, by charging our weapons we will be giving away our position." He said. Bligh was a little concerned the young ensign didn`t realize that.

[Captain Alexander Kynes]

Captain Jackson cautiously looked at the away team.
"You look like starfleet... But we've been fooled before."
The charge of their phaser rifles could be heard around them.
"We understand you must be stressed," said Kynes reaching his hands out.
"But we mean no harm. We've come to retrieve you."
The crew all appeared old, ragged and tired. Kynes estimated there couldn't be one of them that was below 40.
"Half of my crew is DEAD!" screamed Captain Jackson, dressed in black civilian clothing.
"God knows how long we've been forced to eat scraps of the ship's rations and the nearby food sources we could find."
"With all due respect, Captain Jackson... It's only been two weeks since you were declared missing," said Kynes, weary of the man's overdramatic approach. Jackson scoffed, and forced a laugh of rage.
"T-two!?!? T-t-two GODDAMN weeks you say? We've been stuck in this desolate hell for 8 years!"

Kynes froze and looked around at the crew. Most of them were clad in civilian clothing, and he noticed a rusty USS Amazing in the background. There was evidence of small fires blazing in the general area. Many of the crewmen Kynes could tell were ill.

"I don't understand," Kynes stuttered, looking at the ancient buildings around them.

"8 years ago- no, I stand corrected. 2 WEEKS ago, the Amazing picked up a anomalous sensor reading several light years from our position. We were led to this hellish planet. We hailed the planet, but we received no answer. Then the problems started. First we lost our Warp Drive, then our Life Support began to malfunction. It was as if the ship suddenly became 200 years old! We were forced to land in this city, to see if we could find help for our ship."

More gunfire and screams could be heard in the distance. Jackson smiled.

"And you hear those? That's been our soundtrack during our stay on the hell planet. We keep hearing those weapons and those voices, but there isn't anyone on this planet but us. Some of our crew has even began to hallucinate, seeing transparent images of people shooting at each other."

"But..." started Kynes.
"While we were here, we saw another person, a Valen who was wounded."

Jackson laughed.

"That doesn't make any sense! Face it buddy, this is a dead planet!"

[Lt Matina Jade]

Jade looked on for a moment before ordering her men to put their guard up.
"You want proof we are real, come get it" she snorted.

[Commander Vorak]

Vorak's voice raised "Ms Mandelo order your men to power down, now! That is an order" he said still in a Vulcan way before turning to the other crew. "Its seems the Doctor may wish to take a look at you."
He opened his communicator "Sickbay prepare for surviours."

[Lt Matina Jade]

She did so but was not looking very happy about it. "As you wish sir."

[Beathan MacAinmire]

"Survivors?...Survivors from wha'?" Beathan said looking over at a nurse.

Comme system:"What survivvors Cap'ain?"

[Commander Vorak]

OOC: ok this was halfly my plot and co my sim I am taking charge, no offense Conor but just because these guys are fighting over who get the command chair doesnt mean we have to skip from where we were and ruin the story. I am deleting everything back to your post. Please guys no klingons, no battles and no OOC fighting ty. Everything back to when we found the crew has been deleted, now gusy be creative and think up a good thing for you to do that doesnt involve battle or fighting. Sorry for deleting the posts both but I had no choice.
1) Bligh the only reason you are full Lt is i made you one and I can change that
2) Ruger was left incharge leave it that way
3)To Ruger, you must follow the mine or teh captains orders at all times, you were just as bad for disobaying orders and taking the plot of into a badly timed battle in the first place.
