Episode X: New Friends, Old Enemies

[Captain Alexander Kynes]

Kynes walked onto the bridge.
"Report," he said.

[Commander Vorak]

"We have picked up a radiation surge, and a spacial distortion to our port bow" he reports.

[Captain Alexander Kynes]

"Have we alerted the Klingons of a possible hostile enemy?" Kynes asks.

[zepplin]

"No sir, the Klingons need to be notified, or this may cause damage to their ship." Zepplin reports.
"They've only got another couple of minutes before this may come in contact with them."
the console bleeps.
"Sir! The Distortion is moving!... I have... no, no! Sir, I lost the distortion."

[Captain Alexander Kynes]

"Modify the sensors to a triaxilating frequency. If you pick up any anomalous sensor readings, forward the coordinates to the Tactical computer and fire phasers..."

[zepplin]

"Standby Captain." Zepplin moves back to viewing his console.
"Scanning, Commander, perhaps if we work together."
Meanwhile the distortion had come infront of the Endeavour.
"Sir this will take a little bit of time... wait a minute... does anyone else see that one the viewscreen?" Shimmers in space were visible every few seconds or so.

"Direct scans in the viewscreen's direction," says Kynes. Suddenly, a battered Klingon starship shimmers into view.
"Litchfield, charge phasers and torpedo tubes. Tell the Nej'rav to stand ready, and hail the hostile vessel..."

[zepplin]

Zepplin pressed a few buttons.
"Captain, they are hailing us sir, audio only."
"=COMM=This is Captain Urifka of the Wessnig, we are ordering you to surrender yourselves as prisoners of the Shield Of Kahless, you have three minutes to respond.=COMM="
"They closed the channel sir, I think I can open another." He states openly.

[Captain Alexander Kynes]

'Not these bastards again,' Kynes muttered under his breath.
"Target their weapons array, and launch photon torpedoes, high yield..."

[zepplin]

"Aye...Sir." Zepplin, having no idea who these were, but he wasn't going to question the Captain on something that appeared to be instinct to him.
Three photon torpedoes launch and instantly makes contact with the Klingon vessel. In the exchange, they fire five disruptor shots at the Endeavour.
"One of the Disruptors are gone, minor damage on their starboard disruptor and photon launcher sir."

[Captain Alexander Kynes]

The IKS Nej'rav began to fire on the Wessnig.
"Shadow our afflicted side. Take us in and focus shields in their direction. Make weapons first priority, then engines. We want them alive..."

[zepplin]

Phasers proceed to hit the Wessnig, and lights flicker internally within the vessel.
A sound is heard accross the bridge.
"Captain, they are hailing us again, visual this time, patching it threw."
A fat Klingon appeared on the screen with two chained targs at either side of him.

[Rudger McVanlen]

"Sir, if they charge weapons again i can evade them with ease. Klingon weapons are easy to dodge when you have the training i got sir" Rudger pipes in just before the screen clicked on. After all he hated it when he wasint told to move the ship, he flet like siting there and exchangeing fire was a fool thing to do...

[zepplin]

OOC: Oh for crying out loud! I have had it with your own personal horn toots, you know I'm really sick of it, I'm so good at this, the best at that, please, be damn mediocre at something will ya?

IC as Klingon Captain: "WE! Have re-inforcements on the way 'Captain'. Destroy us if you will, but your fate is no further from being eliminated. The Shield will not stand for the unification of our two peoples, and if we have to die trying, kill us all now!" The Captain belows across.
